Huge thanks to boralyl for sending some of this out my way. Served in a tulip.
Pours a hazy yellow with a good white head and a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose has a bit of grass and grain, plus a bit of celery, which sounds strange, but works quite well. Flavor takes it up a notch with great wheat and yeast character. Good hopping throughout with a dry, butter finish. Really excellent and similar to the De La Senne and Jandrain-Jandrenouille fresh saisons we had in Belgium. Sublime. It is unreal to gave this much flavor and character in a 4.5% beer.

750mL bottle, no date from Best Damn Beer Shop, I think $9.99. Clear golden with a big 2 1/2 finger off-white head, pretty good retention. Tangy lemon nose with a good amount of wheat up front, some hay and light herbal hops and white pepper with some pear and apricot yeast behind. Light toast as it warms. Flavor continues with the moderate lemon twang and hay/wheat. A little cobwebby as well. The finish was semi-dry, sourness peaked at a 4, wheaty with lingering earth. Medium high carbonation with a light body. Good, but my least favorite between the 4-5-6 that I’ve had.

Where the Wild Beers Are, 2011. Like the description says, some wheat and lightly sour. Clear a saison, with light spice of cloves and grass. Cloudy yellow beer. Good flavor, but palate could be improved.

Bottle: Pale gold with not much head. Light aroma, slight bananas, and mild spices. Super fizzy in the feel. Tangy taste with lemons seemingly abounding. Mild grain aftertaste. Extremely refreshing beverage!

Draft @ Upright. Pours a bright hazy yellow with great lace and whtie head. Smell is floral, wheat, light hops, and herbs. Taste is fruity, grassy, refreshing wheat, citrus zest. Very nice. Fizzy, dry and smooth finish.

RBAG 2012. Thanks Sid for the bottle. Hazy gold with a white head. The aroma is floral and a touch worty with some melon and citrus rind. I agree with others that smell was actually a bit dirty and funky - but in such a good way. The flavor is dry and lightly tart with light floral and spicy hops. There is also some toasty malt and tropical fruit. Light bodied and snappy, with ample carbonation.

RBAG - Bottle thanks to Sid? Cid? Syd? Cydd? I’m gonna go with Cydd. Seems the most likely spelling. Pours hazy greenish-orange. Thin white head, with ropey lacing. Nose is funky, sweaty, and has some light noble hop notes. Very bright and sprity on the nose. Flavours of soft acid, green apples, earthy tropical fruit. Tart and bright. We need more funky Saisons under 5%!
