Received in the 2014 Winter Secret santa -- This was a delight to drink. Very refreshing with salt that gets your attention. Just great, I would love to drink this again, and again, and again, and you get the point.

Bottle share at Bruce’s birthday drinks craft beer co. Many thanks to Bruce. Aroma is nice sharp, orange peel, perfume, farmyard, little kaffir lime. Translucent golden orange coloured pour with a fine lasting white head. Flavour is composed of candied orange, sharp lime, pinch of salt, little nice sharp funk, . palate is semi sweet and sharp, airy carbonation. Nice lingering orange and funk.

Bottle big thanks to Bruce. It pours cloudy golden with a decent white head. The nose is soft, sweet, preserved lemon, minerals, wheat, lemon cheesecake and light cracker. The taste is crisp, doughy, minerals, light tartness, doughy, faint saltiness, orange rind, grassy with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not as much pucker as I had hoped. Smooth and rather drinkable, but not up there with Westbrook and such like.

Bottle from CANBIF 2014, shared at the 2014 end of year Ottawa tasting. Pale straw pour with an off white head. Epson salt, lemon rind, wheat and turnip. The nose just didn’t follow through into the palate though where it turned into flat lemonade (un-sweetened) with high carbonation and mild body and a slightly dry finish.

Poured from tap to glass. Clear straw hue with fizzy white head that lingered. Aroma is corn, straw, lactic, butter. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry with a tart finish. Overall this is an ok brew but it’s I definitely get DMS and diacetyl.

I really liked this one. Pours clear gold with lots of head. NOse is lemon pledge, some cereal. Flavours of lemon, wheat, some epsom salt and floral notes. Taste light sweet, light tang. Mouth is pretty light with some acidity. Really drinkable, and this is not typically a style that works for me.

Bottle shared by Jeff at the Dolphins tailgate. Snifter pour. Light golden yellow with a slight haze. Small head and some lacing. The aroma is light fruits, tartness, cereal, and coriander. The taste is similar with coriander, light floral and fruitiness, cereal, and finishes with a slight salty dryness. Not my favorite gose but certainly drinkable. Moderate carb.

Pours a mostly clear golde color with minimal head. Lots of light fruit and coriander, big on the coriander, not much tartness at all.
