Bottle @ GTís Cat Cabana. Thanks, GT. Hazy bright orange pour with small white foam. Nose is really heavy on pear and white grape. Kind of sweet fruit cobbler nose and a bit of tart citrus. Interesting beer. Flavor is lightly tart and lots of fruit character. Sweet baked pear, apple, and stone fruit. Some white grape juice, lemon, and orange zest.

Bottle. Cloudy orange pour with a small fizzy head. Aroma is a great mix of barnyard, grape skins, oranges, and oak. Tastes moderately sour. Nice juiciness balances the sour and it mixes well with the lemon, oak and barnyard flavors. White grape finish. I usually donít like the more wine-like sours but this one was great. My first Upright beer did not disappoint.

Bottle: Thanks, Eddie. Nearly opaque, dense tangerine color, foamy white head settles to a foamy collar quickly. Aroma of grape must, lightly vinous white grapes, light olive, some sour lacto, a little wood, some funky sweat, brettanomyces, a hint of lactic acid. Flavor isnít puckeringly sour but itís plenty tart. Lemon, mild white grape, faint boozy character like youíd get from a wine, but not hot. A touch of acidity, yogurty lacto, hay, musty barnyard floor, slightly tannic, wet oak, & a tart grape skin finish.

Bottle: The aroma consists of sour grape skins, white wine, citrus, and oak. It pours a cloudy dull orange with a white head that quickly fades to a minimal film. The flavor starts with moderate citrus with some faint white grape. The finish has moderate tart lemon, sweet tarts, white wine, and oak. Itís light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, super tasty and refreshing.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is slightly acidic with some citrus and light tropical and stone fruit. Moderate grape must with some light oak notes. Pours a hazy golden orange with a faint white head that recedes quickly to the edges where it lingers. Faint lacing and medium small legs. Flavor has a medium to medium light acidity with some faint sweetness and a hint of malt character. Some light citrus character with some hints of tropical fruit and stone fruit. Moderate grape notes with some light oak and grape skin tannins. Light bitterness and light oak flavor. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer from Upright with a good grape character. Nice acidity and oak notes. Decent tannin character.
