Pours hazy dark ruddy amber with a transient beige head. Aroma is roasted brown sugar. Med body. Flavor is sour brown sugar. Bizarre concept! Lots of fruit and finishes hotly spicy and slightly oaky. Excellent ale.

(750ml bottle thanks to Mora2000) cloudy rich caramel, soapy lasting film of coasting bubbles. Nose is tart and funky, bit of cherry, chewable vitamins, complex, tart stone fruit. Taste of tart cherry, light brett, complex stone fruit like peaches and apricots. Linger is funky, brett, dry, tart. Complex and awesome.

The beer is dark orange with a quarter inch of off white head. The aroma is inviting, with scents of citrus fruit, spice, white wine, grapes. Nice flavor, with prominent grape and tannic characters. White grape juice with a touch of wild yeast. Light bodied, but not thin. Nice feel. Overall, very enjoyable.

Tap @ Upright’s Tasting Room... Poured hazy, deep reddish-amber. Nice lactic acidity with some candied sweetness, light spice, and some oak, botanicals, and wine-like earthy yeastiness. Dark plum-like fruits, syrupy dark sugar quality too. Even a little bit of heat. Sour and tart especially towards the finish.

Bottle. Muddled brown. Aroma of ajwan, coriander, fenugreek, other Indian spices. And fresh coriander leaf, too. Soft palate but the carbo is too gassy. Nice aftertaste lingers, lots of tangerine peel, curaçao, mulberry. Very complex and interesting.

Bottlle from a trade with 5000. Pours clear copper color with off white head. Aromas of sour cherries, oak, whisky and grapes. Flavors of tart cherries, peppers, whisky, oak, vanilla, and oranges. Medium body with average carbonation. Thanks Andre.

Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours murky brown with a fast disappearing beige head and a sour spicy aroma. There is a sour fruit flavor with some brown sugar and coriander and a bit of pepper. A very unique brew that is interesting to drink.
