Pretty interesting stuff. Fruity and spicy with a light malt background that allows the yeast to shine. Refreshing and crisp.

On tap at Venti’s South. Cloves and spice. Thicker and heavier than most Hefeweizen. Finish is crisp and a bit fruity.

A hazed golden blonde weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth sweet banana aroma with cloves, lemon, quite nice. In mouth, a smooth light weizen, lightly mineral, and faint bananas, not bad. On tap at Oregon Brewer’s Fest, July 31 2011.

Solid entrant into the hefe field. Easy to drink. A little grain snuck in there along with small touches of banana and clove. Very fluffy head on this one. Pours a pretty yellow with some haze.

Tap @ The Beer Mongers... Poured hazy golden/yellow with a white head. Very true to style. Flavors of phenols, cloves, bananas. Some spices, creamy white tones. Quite sweet and worty. Thick, high carbonation.

Oregon Brewers Festival 2011 – Portland, OR
This is a German style Hefe that was fermented in open tanks.
Golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Nice wheat aroma and flavors light hops. Strong yeast and interesting fruit like flavors. This finishes dry. Very good new brew.
