COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seven is our most aromatic beer. The brewery’s saison yeast is fully expressed in the aroma with lots of fruitiness while the hops provide light spice notes. The beer has some heft mid-palette but finishes dry with a lightly lingering bitterness. Seven is satisfying on its own but pairs great with a variety of typically fragrant cuisines such as Thai or Indian.

Clear golden color with a small sparkly head. Rich floral aroma of honeysuckle, rose, apricot, cedar, and a hint of sour cherry. Flavor is pleasantly sour, and the finish is wonderfully crisp.

Tasted on 1/9/12 from a capped 750mL bottle brought back from Oregon by UncleJedi, huge thanks Jim. Pours hazy dark orange with a very thick off-white head that slowly recedes to average, even lace. The nose is tart and sweet fruity yeast with some bread malt and spicy hops. The flavor is the same sweet and tart fruit (apricot and peach), with the spicy hops and a hint of bread malt. The body is pretty full with average carbonation and a long spicy, fruity, tart, and lightly bitter finish.

Pours somewhat clear golden with a decent white head. The aroma is spicy and sweet saison notes, not so funky. The flavor is similar, sweet and light spice with tangy notes on a solid medium body with a bubbly ending.

Draft @ upright. Hazy orange pour with offwhite head. Smell is yeast, spice, some tartness, herbal and floral. Taste is light tartness with spices and a lot of yeast. Finish is very yeasty and nicely tart with spices. I love this Brewery and their many takes on Saison as a style. This one was definately more tart and yeast forward than I am used to.

750ml bottle. Served in a globe. Pours hazy amber, thick, almost rocky white head that stays and good lacing on the glass. Smells of belgian funk, grass, hoppy florals. Medium bodied mouthfeel and silky smooth carbonation. Stats with sweet flavors up front with hop floral and bitterness at the end. Musty yeast and spicy notes to complement the sweetness, nice warmth from the ABV.

Bottled, thanks a ton to my bro for sharing this baby, lots of life to this one, the aroma is very citrusy and there is a ton of flavours, good body and a nice finish, great stuff

Tap at Upright - turbid gold - rather sweet for a saison, but with an acidic and herbal punch to balance a bit - sadly, the acidity is a little high and slightly abrasive - notes of honey, wildflowers, wheat, peppery character, fruity hops, light esters - melon and pear - lingering herbal tea and honey - it is good, but never completely balances the high sweetness.

Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, lemon/lemon peel, and a touch of ginger. It pours a cloudy golden-orange with a large white head. The flavor starts with light citrus. The finish has orange peel and light spice. It’s light bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, solid and refreshing, but doesn’t compare to Upright Four.
