COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seven is our most aromatic beer. The brewery’s saison yeast is fully expressed in the aroma with lots of fruitiness while the hops provide light spice notes. The beer has some heft mid-palette but finishes dry with a lightly lingering bitterness. Seven is satisfying on its own but pairs great with a variety of typically fragrant cuisines such as Thai or Indian.
Malts: organic pale, pilsener, organic munich
Hops: magnum, mt.rainier, hallertauer mittelfrüh, liberty

Really enjoy this one. Beautiful hazy straw color. Aroma is lemon, spice, fruity. Flavor is tart, bitter, and funky with lemon and citrus flavors. Also has some nice spice, most like white pepper. Light and carbonated. I could drink this all day on a hot summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle much thanks to Dave. Pours out a nice golden color with a huge pillowy slightly off white head.maroma is of light funky yeast, some grass, mild spices, lemon peel, hay and some sweet earthy grains. Taste is complex, nice lightly funky/borderderline tart yeast notes, grass, some lemon zest, a sweet grainy note in there with an appropriately dry finish. Solid.

Cloudy bright golden pour with two or three fingers of white head. Nose shows lots of raw bread dough and yeast with pear flesh and an herbal note. Bready and doughy with some apple skin and cider. Medium full body.

On draft at Kove Kitchen in Steveston. Medium amber, little to almost no head. Peppery aroma. Slight sweetness to the taste, peppery. Exactly how I imagine a Saison should be.

Location: Bottle from State Line, 2/27/15

Aroma: The nose is tart and citrusy, tangerine/orange juice, a little spice, a little yeast
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a sheeting white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: Tastes similar, but more sweet/less tart, the spice/yeast is subtle and in the finish
Palate: The body is on the lighter side of medium, fairly soft carbonation, tart/dry finish
Overall Impression: First thing I’ve tried from Uprising, and this beers not bad, but it isn’t great either. This falls somewhere between tangerine juice and beer. I’d drink this again, it grew on me actually. My score increased the more I drank.
