COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seven is our most aromatic beer. The brewery’s saison yeast is fully expressed in the aroma with lots of fruitiness while the hops provide light spice notes. The beer has some heft mid-palette but finishes dry with a lightly lingering bitterness. Seven is satisfying on its own but pairs great with a variety of typically fragrant cuisines such as Thai or Indian.
Malts: organic pale, pilsener, organic munich
Hops: magnum, mt.rainier, hallertauer mittelfrüh, liberty

Cloudy orange pour with a tall, chunky, off white head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is almost perfumey with sweet floral notes, tree fruit, citrus, light spicy hops and fruity wood. Flavvor starts with sweet floral and citrus notes, then cereal, sweet booziness, bready and spicy yeast, green wood, very faint pine, spicy hops, and honey. The finsh becomes increasingly boozy and bready. Medium body, cream entry, juicy, sort of chewy middle and slick finish. Light, fairly sharp and blanketing carbonation. Pretty tasty, but too big and boozy, better than many sweet Saisons, though.

Location: Bottle from State Line, 2/27/15

Aroma: The nose is tart and citrusy, tangerine/orange juice, a little spice, a little yeast
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color with a sheeting white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: Tastes similar, but more sweet/less tart, the spice/yeast is subtle and in the finish
Palate: The body is on the lighter side of medium, fairly soft carbonation, tart/dry finish
Overall Impression: First thing I’ve tried from Uprising, and this beers not bad, but it isn’t great either. This falls somewhere between tangerine juice and beer. I’d drink this again, it grew on me actually. My score increased the more I drank.

On tap @ Uiltje. Small sample. The aroma has little citrus, some flower, bit funks. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a thin, white head. The taste is light bitter, refreshing still for a relative heavy beer. Some citrus and slight funk there. Nice.

Poured a hazy light orange amber with a small white head. Aroma of lightly sweet citrus and lactose over Saison yeast. Medium body, flavour is as a strong Saison. Not bad at all.

Tap @ Uiltje bar, medium sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of pineapple, slight flowery hop, hint of citrussy tartness, bit funky, spicy. Slight bitter in taste, soft citrussy sweetness, slight sour note. Very soft funky touch makes it quite interesting stuff.

Golden with a white head that dissipates quickly. Fruity citric aroma. Spices and tartness in the taste with a low bitterness profile.

750ml via the internet. Poured a medium to thicker bodied slightly hazed golden body under an average sized dense foamy bright white head. Aroma is sick, honey, flower petals, dough, hint of nuts, some fruitiness and honey. Smooth easy drinking, lighter delicate body, softer carbonation. Flavor is sweet, Honey, flower petals, dough and s touch of nuts. Great beer.

Bottle. Pours a golden orange color with white head. Dusty, straw, yeasty aromas. Hay, yeasty, dusty, slight citrus flavors. Another really good Upright saison.

(Tap) smells nice but I don’t really like the taste as much. Too astringent too

750 from Randalls. Half of the Perfect Pint glass is white foam that slowly falls in on itself. The beer under it is hazy golden. This beer is very fruity and most of it are tropical. Lemon grass, alcohol, spices, banana, Belgian farmhouse yeast, earth, and a mix of dry and sweet. Nice beer and it has a lot going on.
