COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seven is our most aromatic beer. The brewery’s saison yeast is fully expressed in the aroma with lots of fruitiness while the hops provide light spice notes. The beer has some heft mid-palette but finishes dry with a lightly lingering bitterness. Seven is satisfying on its own but pairs great with a variety of typically fragrant cuisines such as Thai or Indian.
Malts: organic pale, pilsener, organic munich
Hops: magnum, mt.rainier, hallertauer mittelfrüh, liberty

750ml bottle. Very hazy orange-yellow with a large foamy lasting white head. (This one got away from me on the pour!.) Aroma of peach, bread, coriander, funkiness and yeast. Very strong. Taste is tart with lingering sweetness and a twist of lemon. - great! Some very mild bitterness on the finish...just enough to add a touch of dryness. Mouthfeel is a little sticky after the initial rush of carbonation...not what I expected. I have had some really good beers over the last year...Blind Pig, Anchorage offerings, and others. This one is also very good. A real pleasure and worth every penny.

Sample at Tap House Grill. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, herbal yeast and malt, The finish is fruity with a moderately bitter hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft pour to a tulip at the Taphouse. Pours a clear golden color with a thin patchy head. Berry like aroma with some spice. Apple, berry, spice, and semi plastic flavor. Very unique. Lingering berry forever. Overall a solid saison.

Pours a dark golden amber color with big fluffy head. Aromas of spice, grass, and a touch of barnyard. Flavor of spicy rye, grassy, yeasty, with a touch of sweetness.

Seven is an odd Saison, for sure. With pale, pils, and munich malts, it almost has a lager-like taste.Yet, the Saison yeast makes a very full presence in the glass with a fair amount of funk and fruitiness. My favorite of Seven’s feature was its spiciness. The hops are sticky and herbal, while the yeast propels some clove and coriander esters. The bottle’s suggestion to pair this with spicy South Asian cuisine sounds spot-on. Hell, I might need to make that happen.

Bottle poured a hazed orange-gold hue w/ enormous lasting white head and sticky lacing. Bold aromas of sweet citrus, clover, and floral notes. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are honey, tangerine pith, grass, garlic, malt, and straw. Highly carbonated. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light haze on this copper ale with a huge, pillowy white head. Loads of tropical fruits, light spice, citrus, a bit earthy. A bit sweet from the fruit but also a light must notes. Finishes full of tropical fruits and light spice. Extremely tasty. Mild spice overall. Quite enjoyable.

With Z , a bomber, pours a golden orange color with a white head. Nose is mild spice, and funk. Taste is light spicey citrus with some mild funk, but nothing over the top. Ends on the same tasting notes, with a rather dry, acidic abrupt finish . Quaff Score 7 / 10
