Bottle shared at MuckFest 3 - Saturday Edition. Pours a richly deeper orange gold hue. Firm haze, frothy offwhite head dies to a ring and laces small. Aromas are bretty pineapple, doughy malts, sour apricots. Lactic acid preaches lemons, yogurty presence, touches of oak, gentle white wine element. A fairly vibrant nose, a touch yeast, wine barrel element. Initial is medium bodied, a touch more girthy than expected with fruity esters, pineapple, firm brett. Gentle oak, some sour apricots. Yeast and yogurt, touces of lemon. A mellow girthy malt kick sticks around, weighing the palate down a bit. Richer fruits, firm kicks of sourness, lactic and apricots are quite apparent. Lemons, crab apples are gentle. Some bready doughy malts, touch of sourdough. Gentle spice. Finish is a bit crisp, lingering brett, pineapple and some cobwebs. Gentle yogurt really grows. An enjoyable beer that seems a bit held back by a touch heavier malt profile. Solid. Nose and appearance are winners, flavors and palate are solid.
