750mL bottle, courtesy of and split with julian (thanks man!), pours an opaque cloudy golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma of brett upfront, barnyard funk, some muted vinous notes, and some musty grapes. Flavour brings out lots of funky notes, with notes of red wine, a little barnyard, and quite a bit of brett. Super complex – the barnyard notes mesh extremely well with the red wine, and the brett adds another dimension of complexity. Highly drinkable. Awesome stuff.

Cheers to Bruce for this one. Light haze on this golds - amber beer. Little white head. Light and mildly crisp palate. Light fruity sourness, touch of worcester sauce. Not too aggressive. Light crisp finish. Decent little sour!

Bottle #24 of 124, many thanks to Bruce! It pours hazy golden-orange with a medium white head. The nose is soft fruit, fresh peach, apricot, vanilla and coconut. The taste is pleasant tartness, sherbet, sour apricot, peach, white grape, tanginess, earth and wood with a tart finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Well balanced and utterly drinkable. Straight-up delicious!

Bottle @ Bruce’s. Many thanks to Bruce for opening this! The pour’s medium amber with a small head. The aroma’s bright peach, nectarine, cantaloupe. Moderately funky woody nose. Some brett, a bit of gym locker. The taste is over-ripe peach, fruit punch. Somewhat stick and syrupy. This is cut by a clean bretty funk, nice citrus. A bit of dirt and generally earthy flavors. Crisp, refreshing stuff. Light body. Not as heavy-handed as many American sours tend to be. Mildly acetic. Overall, a really nice beer. Upright clearly have some chops. I’d gladly drink this again.
