a great aroma. citrus tartness, a yeasty breadiness and some wheat notes are all there in the nose. a light medium body with a bit of wheat and hints of citrus tartness throughout. the finish is clean and dry with great hit of tartness. really good.

RBSG 2016 shared at the Grand Tasting after-party in the hotel lobby. Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow. Tart citrus profile, heavy lacto acidity sourness, interesting sweet undertones (caramel apple?).

Bottle shared at RBSG. The beer is a hazy yellow with a white head of fizzy foam. The aroma has funk, straw, and juicy fruits. Medium tartness with some doughy sweetness coming through as well. Medium body and medium carbonation. Pretty nice.

Bottle at the RBSG Lobby Share. Pours a clear gold with small white head that diminshes to nothing. The aroma is funk, oak, yeast. Thin, tart, lemon, wheat, very good.

Bottle, hotel beer at RBSG Pittsburgh 2016. Cloudy pale yellow color, big fluffy white head with good retention. Aroma of funky citrus. Taste is dry tart lemon. Very tasty.

Bottle - Vintage 2012 - Funky dirty peel and funk. Cloudy yellow gold. Nice tart notes and a dry finish. Still good after all these years.

Pours a clear golden orange on tap with thin ring of off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of nice funky brett and lacto blend, almost wood aged sour going on. Taste is sour and vanilla notes up front, funky middle, clean tart finish. Wow, maybe the best berliner I’ve ever had.

Lightly hazed golden orange with no head.
Nose is tarte citric rinds, lemon dipped straw, light fart, touch musty, peach.
Taste comprises light florals, musty wood, tangerine, tarte peach.
Medium bodied, fine carbonaton, funky rinse in the close.
Decent enough ’Linner, but perhaps expected a little more from these guys?

On tap at The Alibi Room, hazy honey gold hue, with a tiny small white head. Nice funky wild lactobacillus yeast, milky nose, with a light sour green apple, lemon, sour wheat malt mash, bread dough accent, and a faint vanilla oak barrel, subtle lactic plain yogurt, light lemon juice note in the aroma follows through on a light-bodied palate with a great lactic funky lactobacillus yeasty, milky, faint vanilla oak barrel, lemon juice, pale, wheat malty character, with a mild sour green apple, grapefruit, rhubarb, bread sourdough, grapefruit yogurt, light sourish plain yogurt flavour, leading towards a milky lactobacillus yeast sourness, mild fruity acidic lemon juice, green apple sharp sourness finish.
