Bottle shared by Ucusty. Thanks Dave! Deep orange blonde, quite hazy, micro bubbled foamy white head. Nose is really nice and complex; lots of barnyard buggy funk, sweet and fresh floral and pleasant herbs, light ginger, tart clementines, grapefruit. Oh wow. Flavor is very nice as well, pillowy, doughy mouthfeel, lots of funk, fruit and floral herbaceous goodness. This series continues to impress. What a treat.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a hazy golden with a light white head that leaves good lacing, Aroma is really nice with hibiscus and rose being felt. There are also some unidentified vegetal notes in there. Taste is really balanced between sweet and sour, feeling almost juicy. Overall this is a really great and perfumey beer, a masterful act!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap @ Organic Brewers Fest... Poured amber, light red/pinkish with a whitish head. Nose was bretty, lactic, tangy, and floral. Ginger notes, floral, candied malts. A little warmth with a black pepper spice and a sour, acidic finish. Earthy, funky, and dry. I don’t know if they’re pitching yeast, but I know it’s been in the brewery and it certainly came off with a some in there. This may be the best I’ve from Upright so far.

Huge, huge thanks to boralyl for getting this bottle out to me. Served in a SAVOR wine glass.
Pours a nice, clear golden color with a very nice white head and a good bit of lacing on the way down.
The nose really works the rose and hibiscus. Incredible use of flower additions here. Behind that comes some light notes of perfume and earth. The flavor falls off just a touch, but is still at a very high level. Great light body and crisp finish to go along with the floral aspects of the additions. Underlying spice comes through on the back end.
Really a fantastic beer. I need to immediately try to get more of this, and then hope that another batch isn’t too far off.

Bottle 53 of 114. Pours apricot with white head. Intense nose of florals, wild yeast, lemon, oak, spicy hops and pinot noir. Taste follows. Lots of florals, some white pepper, wild yeast, oak, lemon, spicy hops and pinot noir barrel. The florals and pinot noir barrel dominate and meld beautifully. Medium body.
