Bottle 35 of 72, unclear which batch. Pours a beautiful garnet color with a slightly brownish tinge, similar to Russian River Consecration, and a small tan head. Aroma is deep red and black fruits – blackberry, prune, blueberry, red grape skins – with some bright citrus peel, spiced cider, milk chocolate, and a savory black olive note. Lots of oak, too. Taste is mellow raspberry jam, cola, black currant, light and fruity red wine, faint whiskey, lemon peel, unripe stone fruit, lingering oak. Some peachy tartness but not as sour as I expected. Low carbonation. Consecration again comes to mind although this is lighter and much more drinkable. Very nice.

Bottle pour on the bus in Asheville. Abrasive vinegar. Somewhat funky. Old Sour Patch Kids (in a good way). The taste is similarly angular. Starburst candies and concentrated dirty spoiling peach. Raspberry tart. Light body, active carbonation. Pretty tasty.

RBWG, bus bottle. Another sick sole comp beer. Really tasty. Lots of tartness with a hint of red fruit, cherry definitely sticks out. I love this brewery and almost everything they make. RBSG should def be in Portland this year!

Sample from a 750 ml bottle at RBWG. Pours a hazy orange amber color witha small plus off white head. The aroma and flavor have a ton of tart fruit ; cherry, berries, nice acidity, soft woody notes with a light spice. Great drinking sour.

Bottle on the bus during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Great stuff - thanks for this one! Tart fruits abound with good acetic twang. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Clean, tangy fruits to finish with tart berries and mild leather. Very nice.

RBWG Bus beer. Murky brown, thin ring of foam. Smells like cherry, lemon, oak, and balsamic vinegar. Smooth, tart and decadent, man. Lots o sour, tart fruit, lots of winey notes, too. So good...

Sampled at rbwg on the bus. Sour fruity aroma. Cherry and berry. Those are tasted. So much berry flavor. Soft oak. Almost no malts or hops. Just a little wildness. Good.

750ml bottle pours a hazy, bright amber with some clumpy, beige head. Nose is really nice, strawberry, rhubarb, earthy, berry patch, some candy sweetness, some vinegar. Flavor is well balanced, tart vinegar, berry, rhubarb, strawberry, some lemon, some vitamin C tablet. Acidic finish. Very nice.
