The nose is a mélange of roasted caramel, lemon and sour cherries. Full-bodied with a 1%-milk mouthfeel and jazzy carbonation. The flavor is a fantastic marriage of toasted oak, sour cherries and buttery toffee. Finishes tangy and fruity with loads of purple grapes. Think Irish ale meets Flanders red. Huge thanks to landhoney for sharing this bottle of world class beer!

Hazy red pour with an off-white head. Really intense dark fruit and cherry on the nose. Mild vinegar sourness, some oak, and a bit of malt sweetness. Lots of red wine, too. Big cherry, dark fruit, and sourness to the flavor. Nice oak character, some sweet malt, and mild grass. Mild lemon zest notes and a bit of vanilla.

750mL bottle, courtesy of julian (thanks a lot man), pours a ruby red with a small white head. Aroma of cherries, oak casks, slight vinegar, and slight tartness. Flavour is quite tart, with vinegar, oak casks and light cherries. Quite a bit more tart than the nose suggests. Quite tart and vinegary, yet well-blended. Decent.
