Bottle... This beer rocks!… Cloudy mahogany ale with little to no head. The nose is a mélange of roasted caramel, lemon and sour cherries. Full-bodied with a 1%-milk mouthfeel and jazzy carbonation. The flavor is a fantastic marriage of toasted oak, sour cherries and buttery toffee. Finishes tangy and fruity with loads of purple grapes. Think Irish ale meets Flanders red. Huge thanks to landhoney for sharing this bottle of world class beer!

Bottle #46 / 72 at the Madmitch76. Thanks to The Wingman. It pours reddish with a small white head. The nose is earthy, musty, mouldy, damp wood, red fruits, oak, tangy cherry and a touch of plastic. The taste is crisp, tart, good mouth-pucker, sherbet, funk, wood, leather, must, damp leaves, raspberry and cherry with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not the most refined sour by these guys, but it is decent nonetheless.

Thanks a bunch to hannont for passing this one along. Pours dirty cloudy brown with a small tan head. The aroma has cherries, oak, vinegar, tartness and caramel malt. It has a medium / full smooth body, but it still has lots of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with lush cherries, full malt for the style, vinegar and caramel. The finish is more tart with some oak, bugs and peppery spice. Really nice.
