Sampled on 6/25/2015. This Belgian Ale pours a light orange gold color from a 12oz can. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is malt, bread, fruity and sweet. A light to medium Belgian style ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, hint of banana. The hops are earthy and herbal. Lightly carbonated. Hints of yeast, banana and clove. Nicely balanced. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Dull gold color, a bit hazy. Big yeast esthers in the nose, which carry over to the flavor. Reasonable bitterness balancing out the yeast character and malt flavor/sweetness. A little bit of spiciness in the finish. Clean and refreshing, with a bit of alcohol peeking through. Quite good.

Pour on tap at Black Bottle, cloudy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight white fruit, spice, touch of yeast into a bit of bread, slight dough, touch of spice. Taste was a mix of spice, grain, biscuit, bread, some slight banana into a bit of coriander, slight grassy, herbal hops, finishing slightly sweet.

Draft. Cloudy apricot hue with a soapy white head. Aroma is full of yeasty esters -- banana, primarily, then pear, a backdrop of green apple and a very subtle funky wheat note. The flavor gives off peardrop notes, wheat, softer banana and pronounced alcohol. Soft, creamy medium body is perhaps a bit big for the style. Decent.

Wittales (760) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 10, 2015
Appearance was clear golden with creamy off white lasting 2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are dough, sweet bread, fruity esters, yeasts, no alcohol. Taste are sweet bread upfront with fruity ester middle swallow. Then a chalky, mineral, yeasty finish. Palate was smooth soft CO2 with medium body, then a lasting yeasty mineral finish. Overall a strong effort, but the finish is too distracting(chalky).
