Not too bad. Good alcohol content which is masked well by the Belgian flavors and yeast. Pretty smooth. A little bit at the finish.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a high, lacy, white head. Nose is stone fruit, candy sugar, and a touch of tin can. On the tongue, it’s phenol, candy sugar, citrus, green apple, and a little bit of aluminum foil. Not much hops for being a ’pale ale’. Finish is medium and sweet. It’s all right, but it’s not great.

12oz can pours hazy dark orange with a finger head. Nose is fruity yeasty spice, doughy grain, cracker, orange peel. Taste is similar with a somewhat creamy malty cracker backbone, cereal, subtle citrus, grainy yeast, peppery wheat. Finish is bready malt spice, yeasty fruit, mild bitteness and touches of citrus sweetness. Run of the mill Belgian ale.

12 oz can from Evergreen Discount, into a pint glass. Golden orange and clear appearance with active carbonation and a small beige head. Aroma of coriander, peppery spice, herbs, light yeast, pale malts and light hops. Similar flavor, plenty of coriander, citrus zest, mild spicy bitterness and light sweetness. Medium body with a crisp feel and average carbonation. Hides the 7.5% well but seems to be a bit overdone.

Belgian yeast in a somewhat hoppy ale. Not bad but not as good as an average actual Belgian ale nor an average actual pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz can pours with a clear gold body that supports a white head. The aroma is all clove, coriander and Belgian yeasty spices rimmed with malt and fruity ester sweetness. The taste starts with sweet malts, a brief flash of maybe citrus hops and then heading into firm notes of Belgian yeasty spices and cloves and coriander. For me this is far too Belgian and not enough Pale Ale going on here.

Really enjoyed this hybrid pale. Hazy golden. Get light hops, but mostly coriander and Belgian yeast in nose. Taste is about the same. Almost no bittering, but some nice spice. Slightly fuller mouthfeel than expected. good!

Hazy yellow pour, white head. Light hops, belgian yeast, some light unripe stone fruit. Good on a hot day.

A beautiful gold with a light head to start that transitions to a fine white lacing. You can taste the coriander, but the hops is a bit lite. A nice beer over all.

Can at a bar. So disappointing overall, i just feel like the recipe is f-ed up. Like it wants to be a wit, but the english hops is wrong. It would ’ve turned out just fine as a witbier. Mediocre, even as a weird hipster crossover.
