12oz can poured into a Tulip at 40į. Color is a bright gold with great carbonation yet produces a small white head. Aroma is a fruity Belgian yeast scent. It has a medium body giving a light and somewhat creamy mouth feel. Flavor comes on a mild malt base backed by lemon, coriander and a touch of white pepper, this is followed by a note of hop citrus and Belgian yeast. In the after taste a sweetness comes out turning the yeast to a pineapple taste. Overall its a complex and tasty brew.

Slightly hazy gold brew with a distinct aroma of floral hops. Taste is malty, slightly sweet, but balanced out nicely with the hops. Thick on the toungue and has a decent aftertaste that makes me want more. Plan to pick up a couple cases on my next visit to the store. Only complaint is the cans. Glass is recyclable too and since itís GLASS there is no need to pour it into a GLASS. The top of cans can collect nasty things so I have to wash the tops before I can even begin to enjoy the beer inside even if I am pouring it into a GLASS.

Rich, slightly hazy amber and copper coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of yeast, mild bread, pale malt and some light floral hops. Medium-bodied; Strong yeastie and spice notes up front with some bread and a hop kick with some grassy and herbal notes. Aftertaste is dry with some herbal notes and a little bit of bread. Overall, a nice, but deeply bready and yeastie beer with some good flavours, but nothing spectacular. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased a few minutes ago at Whip In in Austin, Texas on 05-May-2014 sampled a few minutes later in my hotel room here in Austin on 05-May-2014.

Florals and Belgina yeast are the dominate aromas rising from a slightly hazy straw hued pour. The thin white head quickly morphs into a ring providing little to no lacing. Belgian yeast, florals, herbs, and spices provide the flavors. Medium-light body and moderate, yet crisp, carbonation. Overall, while this beer drinkable, it is not as good as some of the other Upslope offerings Iíve sampled.

solid brew - upland puts out good brews. big aroma of wheat and coriander. Taste had spices with citrus hops early but not overpowering. odd/new combo style for me - drinkably different

It looks like this was canned on the 2oth day of January 2014 but itís a bit confusing. Bought locally at Liquor Shed for $9.99 a six pack. It pours a hazy pale gold, has a 1 finger head of foam with a non aggressive pour, tipping my glass to the side, I see lots of nice lacing. Big nose here of clove, Belgian yeast, coriander, very Belgian Style Pale Ale like, for sure. The taste has the clove, some light peppery notes, very yeasty of the Belgian kind, some mild sugary notes, a bit of hoppy zing thatís a bit hard for me to describe but it sure does add some tasty and enjoyable notes. The body and carbonation are spot on. Makes for a great mouthfeel. Wow. This is seriously good. True to style and a real bargain for what I paid for it. We, in Casper, donít get a whole lot of Belgian love, in other words, a lot of Belgian imports. This will do VERY nicely. Man, Upslope did one hella good job with this.

Sampled last year in a six pack of cans. A smooth pale ale with a nice hop palate. Well made and flavorful.

Appearance: pours a 1" white head that recedes slowly with moderate lacing. Color is a cloudy golden with plenty of carbonation streaming. Aroma: coriander is dominate, along with yeasty bread dough Mouthfeel: light and a little slick. Warming alcohol in the swallow. Flavor: coriander, sweetness from the malt and added sugar, quite bready sort of akin to a sweetroll, some mild hop in the finish. Overall: very good, lacks a little bit in balance (too sweet).

Drunk from a can but looks a light golden yellow. Low aroma. Tastes sweet with hints of banana and citrus.
