3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Seems to be my early summer session beer. Orange pour with white head. Not cloudy, but not clear. Smells of orange, coriander and some light wheat esters. Taste is orange vanilla into coriander and crisp lingering fruit finish. Best thing out of upslope in a can right now.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasty and drinkable pale ale. Light malt aroma and hints of Belgian yeast. Light color with a crips palate. Pale malts with some bitterness and more yeast and spice.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft. Cloudy apricot hue with a soapy white head. Aroma is full of yeasty esters -- banana, primarily, then pear, a backdrop of green apple and a very subtle funky wheat note. The flavor gives off peardrop notes, wheat, softer banana and pronounced alcohol. Soft, creamy medium body is perhaps a bit big for the style. Decent.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance was clear golden with creamy off white lasting 2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are dough, sweet bread, fruity esters, yeasts, no alcohol. Taste are sweet bread upfront with fruity ester middle swallow. Then a chalky, mineral, yeasty finish. Palate was smooth soft CO2 with medium body, then a lasting yeasty mineral finish. Overall a strong effort, but the finish is too distracting(chalky).

Clear golden, almost no head to speak of. Banana, coriander, honey, some light grass. Sweet, a bit of bitterness. Lighter body, a bit of carbonation. Longish finish. Fine.

From 12oz can to shaker. Pour is a deep gold, cloudy with a thick white head. Nose is coriander, wheat, citrus. Taste is bitter, sharp sour finish. Ok beer, wish it was hoppier.

12oz can poured into trappist glass
The Upslope Belgian Style Pale Ale pours a cloudy yellowish orange with a thick ivory head that lasts a fair while. The aroma is citrus and bread. The flavor is also citrus and bread. Overall the beer is pretty average. There is really nothing notable about the beer, but it looks very nice when poured.

12oz can 11/6/14 (Courtesy of RSRIZZO)-40° in Trappist Glass-Pours a yellowish orange with a small white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of yeast, spices, citrus, and candy sugar. Taste of the same with a bit more citrus. This medium bodied brew is not bad. I was expecting a more balanced brew.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appearance: pours with a large off white head, the beer is a clear slightly lighter gold color, head fades quick
Aroma: yeast, banana, lemon, orange
Taste: bread, alcohol, banana, some sweetness,
Palate: lively carbonation, sweet aftertaste, medium mouthfeel
Overall: this beer has too much alcohol for it's subtle flavors, this is a good beer with a less in your face alcohol punch

Not too bad. Good alcohol content which is masked well by the Belgian flavors and yeast. Pretty smooth. A little bit at the finish.

Can. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a high, lacy, white head. Nose is stone fruit, candy sugar, and a touch of tin can. On the tongue, it’s phenol, candy sugar, citrus, green apple, and a little bit of aluminum foil. Not much hops for being a ’pale ale’. Finish is medium and sweet. It’s all right, but it’s not great.
