Can from arminjewell. Pours a vibrant light orange with some white head. Aroma is hops upon hops, flavor is sticky hops, some sweetness and well balanced. Very good

Can carried from Denver by Liz. Pours light golden amber with a slight white head. There’s pine and mild caramel in the aroma. Med body. Flavor is very smooth pine, floral and arguably fruit. It burns a bit in the gullet (heat), but in the mouth I think the burn is hop. It finishes very bitter and very tasty. Seems like it goes more floral in the finish. Amazingly unharsh.

Bitter and hoppy with a cloudy orange appearance. A little flat on the back end though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brilliant orange copper in the glass. Sweet floral pine aroma. Muted sweet citrus bitter flavor, mixed with a touch of tropical fruit. Not much alcohol for a 10%brew. Overall, nice. I’d purchase again.

Poured out of a giant can, it is lovely golden color. Great hoppy aroma. Tasty, boozy, resiny flavor.

3/26/2014. From can. Poured clear amber color with a white head. Caramel aromas with pine and citrus. Flavors are caramel with a very noticeable boozy finish. A bit on the heavy side for me, but overall a nice DIPA.

Location: 19.2 oz can (unique, never seen this size before) from Central Market, 2/24/14

Aroma: The nose is resin and pine, tropical notes, and a just a hint of rubbing alcohol
Appearance: It pours a clear gold-orange color with a thin white head and streaks of lace
Flavor: The taste is mildly sweet, mostly bitter, with some slightly off alcohol flavors as well
Palate: The body is medium-full, it is sticky and a touch hot, with a long, dry finish
Overall Impression: I have gotta say, I love that can. Very cool. As for the beer, I actually quite enjoyed the aroma (minus the hint of rubbing alcohol), but the flavor doesn’t quite live up to the level of the aroma. This is a decent DIPA, it just happens to have flaws, and those flaws shine through more so than in other beers that are equally as (minimally) flawed. It’s close.

Nice. Bit boozey. Resin, grapefruit, and pine in equal parts. Not a bad malt background. Bitter. Would like to see less resin.

Tangerine colored pour with moderate white head. Aroma of big citrus, tropical hops, mango, apricot. Flavor is well balanced with a grassy hop bitterness, citrus, and a subtle honey quality.

i have $14 to my name, so it was almost depressing buying this $10 can. .. the aroma is fantastic, pliny-esqe .. . deep amber .. . medium foamo’s .. . sap and woody grapefruit .. . goes down easy enough, i’d shotgun this .. . . i must just have one of those faces, the kind you want to sledgehammer into tiny bits...
