3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a can, thanks to Ed. There is a definite husky, metallic, astringency to this beer that dominates the flavor. The Hop aroma is nice and citrusy. Sweet maltiness, but not overly so. I am thinking the astringency balanced the malty sweetness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can. Pours a clear, amber color with a nice white head. Strong, hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus and grapefruit. Smooth, floral notes. Nice citrus presence with some hops in the flavor. Hard to tell how strong it is. Really good IPA.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. Pours orange with deep red hues and off-white head. Aroma is a bit dirty, piney, very malt forward- caramel. Taste is bitter but not very complex. Decent but really very basic, a good for an introductory IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"another nice canned IPA from CO. This one pours quite dark, like a Gordon...red. maltier and spicier than i usually prefer in IPAs but i canít really complain, this was some tasty stuff."

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: opaque brown color, off white two inch head, very nice head on beer - a really appetizing looking beer
Aroma: citrus, hops, earthy, grassy
Palette: citrusy, hoppy, punch of flavor at the end, can taste how it is a higher alcohol beer
Taste: very bitter at the end, medium body
Overall: this is a pretty good beer if you like bitter and alcohol flavor

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance: very nice deep amber color, pours with a very large and dense light tan head, pretty clear
Aroma: spicy, strong caramel malt, grass, hints of chocolate even,
Taste: bitter upfront, has a strong malt backbone to it as well, hints of alcohol, picking up the subtle chocolate again,
Palate: soft carbonation, medium to heavier mouthfeel, light bitter aftertaste
Overall: Iím pleasantly surprised by this beer, very well balanced, has nice aroma, maltiness, bitterness, and even head

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Herbal/floral, citrus/peachy fruity hops aroma. Tangerine/grapefruit and floral hop flavor. Light malt flavor: Bread crust, caramel, sweet. Substantial bittier aftertaste. Not super hoppy--but good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Another mild beer from Upslope. It appears that the specialize in producing beers with a slightly higher amount of alcohol and they cover it up using a variety of different ingredients. The dominant ingredient takes the beer name. Alcohol covered with hops. Not too much hops though.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a mostly clear classic golden color with a short, white head. Flat lager aroma with not much expression of a hop character. Medium bodied and somewhat crisp. A wheaty flavor comes through first, with some bitter hop following. That flat lager is unfortunately pervasive.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can: The aroma consists of moderate caramel and toffee with lighter fruit and a touch of floral hops. It pours a transparent amber with a large orange tinted off-white head that has great retention and leaves behind a lot of soapy lacing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a lot of caramel and toffee along with some light fruit. The finish floral hops, a touch of cardboard, and mint. Itís light-medium bodied with mild carbonation and a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Overall, this is not at all that I want in an IPA and itís not very good even on the hedonistic scale.
