12 oz can purchased at Antler liquor in Frisco, Colorado. Pour is a copper brownish ruby, slightly hazed, with a two inch tan head. The head falls with decent lacing. The aroma is hazelnut malt, a bit roasty, along with some milder pine and earthy hops. The taste has the slightly sweet hazelnut malt up front, mixed along with an earthy, sort of floral pine hop. There is a mild twinge of vegetal present, which detracted. The palate is medium bodied, pretty full for an IPA, though it is pretty dry which makes it easy to drink. Overall, decent IPA - not sure how fresh this was.

12oz can poured into a Shaker at 48°. Color is a deep dark golden brown with a nice tight head. Aroma iof roasted malt with just a hint of hop in the back. It has a medium body with a smooth mouth feel. Flavor is rich with the malt showing bold and slightly roasted giving a caramel taste and a hint of coffee, then a light hop flavor comes in spicy with a mild bitterness. In the after taste the malt flavors drop off leaving the bitterness standing out then fading. Overall its a great brew, very well balanced and tasty. I think a lot of people will say this one is not hoppy enough, but I feel its very well done.

Aroma is very hoppy. Appearance is basic, pours with a thick head for an IPA. Taste is fairly bitter, not a lot of malt balance. Decent IPA in a pinch, but not exceptional.
