Orange-copper pour with a white head. The aroma has a bit of orange and pine notes but it is fairly faint. I also get some dirty malt notes in the aroma. The flavor has some candied orange citrus notes and is fairly sweet overall. I also get a hint of grass and pine as well as some strong biscuit malt notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

In commemoration of the 100 year flood event currently happening due to an upslope weather pattern. Deep copper with a lasting light copper head. Pleasant piney aroma. Strong hop character in taste and aroma. Crisp mouthfeel. The bitterness catches on the finish. It’s raining again.

rougeau13 (1970) - Richmond, Texas, USA - SEP 9, 2013
Deep, clear, reddish-copper-amber with a substantial off-white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of caramel, grass, toast, and citrus. The taste is malty and only moderately bitter. Somewhat malt-forward, but good flavor and balance. Medium bodied and leaning to the fuller side. Not outstanding, but certainly enjoyable.

Orange color with a lot of foam. I had it both on tap and out of a can. It isn't very hoppy and quite bland for an IPA! Perhaps this could a be good beer for someone trying to get into IPA's? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a can, not bad. There is something unique about this taste from most IPAs but it would be way down my rankings of Colorado IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear dark amber with a medium sized beige head and lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is malty, dusty, caramel, earthy and pine. Taste is sweet caramel up front with bitter pine in the finish
OK, sweet and bitter.

12oz can poured into glass. Nothing super exciting about this beer, but I’m always up for something new out of a can, especially since I can’t get these in FL.

Patagonia hops. I believe this is like Sierra Nevada’s Southern Hemisphere IPA, the use of regional hop, not a specific type of hops. Poured from a can, a beautiful red brown with a tan head with nice lacing. Pine aroma. The bitterness hits hard with a nice matching sweetness and a bit of alcohol. One of the bitterest IPAs I have tried. I think a barrel of this would definately make it from England to Austrialia on a sailing vessel.
