Dark Amber with the smell of herbs and slight citrus. Very dry bitter brew that tastes of pine, roasted malt, slightly spicy, and again a bitter dry finish. Pretty decent IPA but unfortunatily for the price there are those that I will buy before going at this one again.

Can courtesy of theothermatt. Poured unclear dark orange amber. Medium frothy white head, partly lasting with some nice lace. Aroma is moderate malty with fruity hops. Caramel, orange, peach, maybe some resin. Flavor is quite malty. Medium plus bodied. Oily. Finish is sweet, malty, with resiny bitterness. Its characteristics all sort of glob together in an unflatteringly sweet way.

Aroma is pretty sweet, hoppy, malty, bitter. Caramel. Taste is similar, mainly hoppy and bitter. Bitter finish bit still fairly smooth.

I don’t remember this beer looking so attractive. Poured into a glass, it displays a deep copper-orange color with a large, billowy nearly sand-colored head that was actually supporting a few pieces of matter from what appears to be the grain bill. Carbonation was vivacious for quite a while. The nose is very nice, bold with caramelized malts, a barn door-like dusty sweetness, and a gentle but robust hop presence. The flavor is gentle, but sweet (in a dull, earthy way), and pleasantly grainy with an herbal and acidic citrus, grapefruit-like, dare I say nearly tropical, hop finish. It’s almost creamy on the lips and in the mouth, soft and full, with plenty body to dish out the dull, musky sweetness and muted, but sharp, hop bitterness. Some of the sweetness persists in the mouth long after the finish, expressing more of the beer’s moderate-to-high malt caramelization character. Over time something in the mix starts to remind me a little of hay, and perhaps some notes of burnt sugar.

slight hazy copper color with an off white rocky beige head that lingers around for a long time. Upfront grapefruit aroma. Lots of hop bitterness in this one with a medium body. Some spice towards the middle and a lingering hop finish. This IPA is way under rated. Wanted there malty brown ale but Total Wine was out. They just need to improve their logo and add some color to their glassware. I would think that the mauve color is not very popular with beer drinkers.

12oz can pours with a clear copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a nice looking tan head of foam. The aroma is inviting with spicy hops and pine hops that move into a mild citrus hop note plus a light mix of biscuit malts and sweet maltiness. The taste delivers a mix of sweet malts, pine hops and grapefruit to clementine citrus hoppiness. To midway the hop bitterness surges forward along with some spicy hops as well. There’s a modest sweet malt to crystal maltiness creating a nice base for the hops. Solid IPA.

Nothing special. Lots of better options out there for the money. I suspect IPA is not Upslope's specialty or focus.

12oz. Can. Pours clear, fizzy and dark amber. Aroma is fruit flavors and bold. Taste is heavy, hoppy and bitter. The finish is strong and malty, and the alcohol content seems exact. Great beer... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Copper colored pour from can. Taste is booze, citrus, pine needles, dough and hay. This is a solid IPA that should be rated much higher.

Can poured a clear ruby-brown hue w/ large creamy head and sticky lacing. Moderate to bold hoppy aroma. Initial flavor is mild sweet w/ a moderate bitter finish of medium duration. Tastes are grass, pine, and straw. Full bodied, creamy mouthfeel, and average carbonation.
