Poured from can into snifter, coppery color with healthy head, strong hoppy aroma. Tastes great, hidden ABV, pleasantly surprised by this one. Glad I got a 6 pack. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark gold / light brown with an off-white head. Very light, sweet aroma. Hard to tell what it smells like. Very malty without much hop flavor. This isn’t a bad beer but doesn’t taste like an IPA to me. More like a brown ale or even a weak strong ale (does that make sense?).

Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a deep orange amber color with a one finger head of off white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a decent sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heavy of a bready and a more earthy and pine hop smell. Along with these aromas comes a decent showing of a grapefruit citrus hop as well as some aromas of caramel and a little bit of sweeter citrus fruit, with just a touch of an onion smell rounding it all out. Taste – The taste begins with a bready flavor mixed with a decent showing of a hop taste of a grapefruit nature. While grapefruit is the heaviest of the hop upfront, it fades as the taste moves forward, with it being replaced by other hop flavors of a pine and earthy hop. All while this occurs, the light caramel that was present upfront transitions to a more fruity like sweetness with some tangerine and a little bit of tropical fruit coming to the tongue. The sweet remains very light overall, and with the increase in the more dank hop flavors as well as a coming of some light onion and grassy hop tastes, one is left with a rather dankly hopped and malty taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average with a carbonation level that is on the slightly lower side. For the dank hop tastes and lighter sweetness, the feel is pretty good as it really accentuates these tastes and allows for them to stand out in light of the more bready nature of the brew. Overall – A fairly nice, more dankly hopped and sort of bready brew. Not my favorite, but one I would get again and one that is at least worth one try of.

12oz can from Liquor Max. Coppery orange pour with a bit of a white head. Nose has tangy pine, citrus and caramel. Taste is of sweet fruits, tangy pine, some caramelly malt and some chewy resin. Medium bodied. Slightly sticky. Finishes on the fruity sweet side of bittersweet. Solid-not-great IPA plucked out of that cooler of NoCO brewers I did not know -- should had taken the DIPA as it is very well rated. 13.8

I was in love with Dales Pale Ale and Goose Island IPA until I discovered Upslope! Love the taste my only problem with it is the high ABV. I love my beer and after three of these I’m done for the night.

Neat mahogany reddish color, small white head. Honey, super light pine resin, floral notes. Decent amount of bitterness, some good sweetness. Very oily, medium body, some bit of carbonation. Quite acidic. Fine.

Solid IPA. Not earth-shattering but well made and packs enough punch to avoid generic. Granted I just drove for 14 hours and it's the first beer I'm drinking in my hotel room so I'm biased. Can in Fruita, CO. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty standard. Loved the label design. Typical crusher. It’s an ipa. Not much more.

Tasted on 5/24/12 from a can. Pours crystal clear amber with an average off-white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is nicely balanced bread malt and floral citrus hops. The flavor is very nicely balanced floral and lightly bitter hops with light bread malt. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long balanced bitter hops finish.

355ml can from AshtonMcCobb - cheers Ash! Pours a beautiful deep amber red, thin beige head that stays around. Aromas of pine, resin, caramel. Taste is light bitter, good balance, grapefruit notes, but good malt backbone. Resinous in the mouth, toffee at the end. Good stuff.
