Special Bottling 3/4 l Orange beer with slight haze, no head. Fruity, passion fruit, brandy nose. In the taste, a wild strawberry flavour, alcohol, some fresh, but sweet malts. Quite slick and viscuous, alcoholexplosion backthroat. Very good tripel, if changed very much by the aging.

Jun 14, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, burnished gold body with a full, frothy, white head.
Smell: Aroma of pale malt, oak wood, and cracked candi sugar with the undeniable scent of Brett.
Taste: Funkified Brett blended with a taste of oak. Drop in some vanilla-infused cream, along with the standard flavors of pale malt and candi sugar (though not much sweetness). Slight sour fruitiness. Drying finish with a taste of top-shelf booze.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Mild carbonation. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
Drinkability: A rather solid tripel, I’ll give’m that much.

May 24, 2008 Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is malt, brett, apple, and some alcohol. Flavor is malty, apple, funk, brett, oak, and a bitter alcoholic finish.

May 22, 2008 Bottle 627 of 642. Brewed in Sept 2006, bottled in Aug 2007. Soft malt, honey, citrus, oak. Clear golden amber. Aroma of tart granny smith and some wood Flavor has quite a bit of acidity. Some oak and some breadiness.

May 15, 2008 Thanks for sharing, Mark. Bottle 596 bottled in 2007. The body was light bronze with an off white head. The aroma was strong apples and oak. There was also some almond character. The taste was funky oak and plums. There was also some cinnamon and raisins. Interesting and funky.
