16.9 oz bottle purchased at Lukas Liquors in Martin City, Missouri. The pour is hazed golden orange with a smaller white head. The aroma is wheat grain, clove and soft banana fruit. Traditional Hefeweizen nose. The taste is a clean blend of the clove, wheat grain, and soft banana fruit sweetness. Clean, mineral earth spice finish. Sweetness picks up some as it warms, though its clean and natural. The palate is light to medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel and the clean finish. Nice traditional Hefeweizen.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, small white head, no real lacing. Aroma is clove, wheat, banana. Flavor is light sweet and follows. Lots of banana and clove, a bit of lingering spice. Very solid.

Drank this flight at the Chestnut Brewery with my loving family. I don’t think I like this one.

Lemon and tangy. A little bitter. Underwhelming like most of their beers. Doesn't taste bad but not my style. Had this on tap as part of a flight at urban chestnut brewery.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy straw yellow with white head, aroma brought wheat, grass, banana, clove, hints of white fruit as well, some bready notes. Taste is a ix of clove, banana, yeast, bread, hints of earth, some grass, finishing sweet, dry. Pretty tasty.

This, for me, was sort of like a Hefeweizen-lite or maybe even a kristalweizen because it just didn’t come permeated by wheaty, yeasty goodness. While it was definitely carbonated and had a slight tart cirtusy flavor, it was relatively dilute compared to some of the other hefeweizens I’ve had that are wheat/yeast/banana through and through. All in all not bad though.

Keg @ Urban Chestnut. Hazy gold with a small head. Banana, bubblegum, peah and clove. Taste is of crisp honeyed apple. Somewhat yeasty. Juicy fruit bubble gum. Graham crackers. Light body, soft carbonation. Solid.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light gold with a fizzy head and aromas of cloves and other spicy esters. Flavor is light and peppery, but thin. Kind of like a watered down version of what I would expect from the style. Not bad, but I was hoping for a much more assertive beer.

On tap @ Urban Chestnut. Hazed golden pour with a white head. Sweet banana, bread, and a bit of clove. Nice bubblegum, some citrus, and a touch of yeast. Really nice banana, clove, and bready malt. Nice dough as well. Good estery beer. A bit of yeast and bubblegum. Nice and easy drinking.
