Stammtisch is an informal group meeting held on a regular basis – more directly translating to ‘table for regulars’. Our Stammtisch was brewed to celebrate this idea of community and socializing. It’s a traditional German pilsner featuring a blend of Hallertau and Strisselspalt hops, and we think it’s the perfect accompaniment to any friendly gathering. Help us make it a ‘regular’ around here!

Draft at the Grove brewery. Pours a hazy pale gold with a finger of bone white head. Big pils malts throughout, with straw, grass, mellow spice, mellow citrus fruit, crackers, and a bright, almost funky earthiness. Light-medium bodied, with a dry, malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Very nice pils.

Tasted at the Grove. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of floral hops, malts and grains. The taste was grainy, bitter, with floral hops and a touch of bitterness. Very nice.

EtTuCthulhu (899) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - JAN 6, 2014
The appearance of this beer has a slightly hazy yellow color with a large white head that fades to a thin layer, and the aroma blends lager yeast and resin hops. The taste, however, is quite nice and refreshing due to a mild sourness and a slight bitterness, and the palate continues the refreshing quality of this brew due to the soft carbonation, medium body, slick texture, and a fairly abrupt finish.

On tap at Urban Chestnut. Pours clear yellow with an orange tint and bit of haze along with a white head. The aroma is grassy, spicy and has pale pilsner malt and bread. The body is light, crisp and refreshing. The taste has the aroma notes along with hints of citrus, dry crackery malt and heavy on the spicy and grassy hops. The finish adds sulfur and is very dry and earthy. Another great pils from UCBC.

On tap at the source. Pours a very pale slightly hazy yellow with a thin white small bead head that laces the glass. Has a clean, but not overly crisp, pils taste which includes a bit of grassiness and a biscuity character. Yeastiness noted as well. Very nice stuff.

On tap at GTMW 2013 - Pours clear golden with a thin soapy white head. Nose is floral hops and light pale dry malt. Real grainy. Tastes grainy and bitter, with herbal/floral hops. Thin, with sharp carbonation. Had high hopes on the taste, but the taste just wasn’t there.

(tap) pale straw gold with white head. Hint of grassy hops aroma. Flavor is light malt, some grassy hops. Nice pilsner, could be a little criisper.
