COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Revolution Series #1: We are affectionately referring to the first beer in our Revolution series of modern, American craft beer, as our unusual little bird. It’s a little on the flighty side @ 6.5% ABV, and it’s a little on the wacky side because we’ll brew it with finely milled chestnuts (genus castanea …for you nut freaks), Willamette hops, and we’ll ferment it with a Bavarian Weissbier yeast strain. All of these nuances contribute to its ‘nutty’ personality. ABV- 6.5%, IBU’s- 25, OG – 14.5 Plato (UCBC Goblet)

From tap at Taphouse Munich. Pours orange brown with off white head. Aroma is malty, grainy, spicy, doughy with nuts. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, slightly sour, malty and a noticeable chestnut flavour. Light body, medium carbonation, balanced. Somehow an interesting brew.

on tap at the taphouse in munich. lightly hazed dark amber with a thin fluffy white head; more of a woody than nutty aroma, perhaps not the freshest; light hints of rye and vanilla, confused, slightly gluggy finish. unconvincing but not unpleasant

like ppl are saying it’s wacky, but the chestnuts make it serious. the bite of the chestnuts, the ephemeral undefined fruitiness. local favorite.

TAp. Fruity roast wood notes. Cloudy orange, low offwhite head. Metallic mealy base, roast, wheat yeast fruityness. Mealy roast finish. Not harmonic.

1/6/2014. On tap. Cloudy orange amber with a white head. Banana, bubblegum, yeast and grassy aromas. not my favorite style, but I’d drink it again.

Bottle from trade with Strykzone. Amber with thick white head. Smell is sweet, nutty. Taste is unique - that earthiness from the chestnuts, some roasted malt flavor, cotton candy sweetness, banana. Very interesting.

Banana rama is a good band. Poured from bottle at flannerys. Earthy tropical aroma. Wheaty and fruity. Weird. Not bad but wouldn't have again
