Draft at Urban Legend. Pours golden orange with a foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, and floral notes. Taste is of bitter hops, sweet juicy citrus, and grass. Has a big grassy taste to it. Very light, and easy to drink. Dry, bitter hop taste lingers long after each sip. Tasty, and I enjoyed it.

Pouring a somewhat hazy golden amber body with a slender eggshell head, this ale has an aroma that’s about hops - grapefruit, zest, some pine, and a touch of the floral. A soft grainy sweetness comes out after a while. The malt tastes both grainy and fruity (apple? really?), but the hops soon take over. The zesty bitterness is solid, lasting long into the dry finish. Pretty decent offering from UL:, well worth repeating.

Nice IPA. When it’s cold, it seems to be missing a malt backbone in a big way, but if you let it warm up a bit, it becomes very well balanced. Nice floral and a little bit citrusy hops, nice mildly sweet malt. Creamy carbonation. Not so great cold, but with just a little warming, it opens up nicely.

22oz bomber from Binny's. Pots golden with small head. Floral aroma, hoppy, bitter flavor. Not bad. Have to try more from them since they are local. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle and served in my GI IPA glass: Pours a hazy golden hue with a mostly lasting head but little lace. The aroma is dank onions, grapefruit, melon, pine needles, caramel and biscuit malts with some spicy pepper and clove notes. While nicey hoppy this is no way a clean PNW IPA where US01 displays shining hop profile. That said it is a a fine DOUBLE IPA with a strong malt profile to counter the hop assault. Must have liked it enough since the bottle is empty as I post this.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and served to a Czech-pils glass, showing a fairly clear, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of soft white head foam that reduced to a persistent, narrow ring & light film, and left some ribbony lacing on the glass. The nose was sweetness, then a little dankness, citrus as grapefruit, and touches of tea, and pine. Medium bodied, with fair carbonation, The flavor presented a pronounced hop bitterness with good lingering properties, a bit of soapiness, and that low, lingering sweetness that started the aroma. A decent, well made IPA, but should be a shaker/pint full.

A very bitter and hoppy ipa. Not much citrus and piney. Had this one out if a bomber at home. Pours orange in color. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazed amber orange with a medium white head. The head dissipates quickly but leaves nice lacing. Aroma is floral with lots of pine and mild grapefruit aromas. Flavor is strongly and impressively bitter, with mild citrus and fruity sweetness. Hop forward, strong grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied. Lively carbonation. Finishes long and bitter. This is a very nice IPA. Put this in a six-pack, Urban Legend.
