Hazy medium amber yellow color with grey notes, a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, rubber, light fruity - banana - clove. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, fruity, rubber acrid, artificial, synthetic, soapy. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. A hazy light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty, but also with notes of caramel, and the flavor is very much like the aroma.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, pale golden with a creamy, white head. Weak, fruity aroma. Very pronounced and very typical fruity esters of banana in particular. Very high in carbonation. Smooth, soft and very refreshing. A nice Hefeweizen. 270705

UPDATED: OCT 26, 2003 Bottled. Pale orange with rich, creamy head. Appley aroma. Fruity, papery and malty. Lively and spritzy. Much less estery than a regular hefeweizen. I don't really know what to make of it.

Bottled. Hazy yellow coloured with a huge white head. Fruity aroma of spices and yeast. Flavour of fruits especially bananas with notes of spices.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Wheat, banana and grain. Smooth. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Weak wheat aroma, slightly acidic. Hazy golden colour, big stable white head. The champagne yeast gives it a cidery flavour. The wheat is mostly noticeable in the aftertaste, and of course the mouthfeel. Interesting beer.

Rather unfortunate insipid yellow. Large bubbles. Very large, white, thick head. Slightly toasty aroma with apple and banana bread notes. Too fizzy - this is really bloating, even for a weizen. Thin body. Some banana and spice notes, and yes this is less estery. I know what to make of it - it's rubbish.

Clear golden with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Disappears very fast. Aroma has citrus, light banana, some grapes. Highish carbonation, quite thin and watery. Flavour has mild banana, some grapes, light apple peel. A bit of grainy wheat and some mild grassy bitterness to the end. Average.

It’s unclear golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of sour yeast, light sewer, light fruit and what. The sweet flavor has notes of somewhat sour yeast, fruit and wheat. The finish is slightly sour and yeast. Not too fond of the sourness.
