Brown with small spots of lacing. Nose is comprised of caramel, roast and raisins. There is a hint of spice and yeast as well. The body is a bit thin, but otherwise it is good beer. Thanks Josh.

Amber-Brown in the glass. The beer starts smooth and malty. Fresh and dark with hints of plums, dark fruit and malt. The mainpart is probably a bit thin, slightly bitter, malty and smooth. In the aftertaste smooth-malty, fresh, slightly bitter and fruity. A nice beer, but probably a bit thin in the body. --> 10/12/11/12

Test vom 16.5.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,9,8,8,9 - 9,30

500 ml bottle in Germany. Beer should be warmed berfore drinking. Is a nice dark brown color with a short lasting brown head. A nice looking beer. Aroma is rosted malt, chocolate, and cheeries. The taste is much the same as the aroma. Very nice. The palate is also very nice and not offensive. An outstanding beer.

Bottle. Sweet prune and chocolate malt aroma with just a hint of astringency. Clear dark chestnut color with small head. Sweet raisin/prune and light chocolate malt flavor. Moderate bitter/astringent alcohol finish. Very nice.
