Brewed with Vienna malt and New Zealand hops, this IPA is exceptionally well-balanced. The malt backbone is firm and slightly biscuity, but not sweet. Glacier and Pacifica hops lend orange, lime and floral aromas and an assertive bitterness that dare you to have another.

Draught at the brewpub in El Cajon, California. Clear golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, caramel, bread, butter notes, some pine. Hoppy grassy flavor, citrus, toffee, bready, some hay. A bit unclean.

Draught at the Urbn Street Brewing Co, El Cajon, CA.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Fruity hops and moderate bitterness in the aroma. Resiny hops, bitterness, caramel maltiness and mild grainy maltiness in the flavour. Strong alcohol warmth for a 6% brew.

On tap at URBN in El Cajon. Pours clear yellow/orange with white head. Nose is citrus, grass, malt. Flavor is more bitter with sweetness just up front; bready and hoppy, bitter finish. Good but not stellar.

On tap @ Plan 9 Ale House. Orange pour with a white head. Bready malt nose with some orange, straw, and grass. A touch of peach, some apple, and a slight dusty note to it. Kind of funky. Flavor is mostly sweet and malt forward. Lots of bread and toast. Sweet orange, light bitterness of grass and citrus peel, and some apple must. There’s a light cheese and dust note to it. Not great.
