Bitter flavour, light to medium body; slight sweet malty taste that turns quickly into a moderate bitterness; dry and even lasting finish. Steady creamy head. Hops and vanilla in the modest aroma. Hoppy, hay like flavor with a long bitter aftertaste. JHust a touch of vanilla. Surprisingly good. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany Jan 10, 2005 Bottled. Pretty standard Pilsner. Rather balanced. Not very dry, but with a slight maltiness and sweetness. Absolutely average.
