MiP (8792), Sřnderborg, Denmark Jun 21, 2009 Bottle, 5.0%. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. Rough bitterness, OK maltiness. Overall OK, but rather rough and slightly unclean. garthicus (1215), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 12, 2009 Thanks to GregClow - I’m a bit confused as it says 12% on the label, not sure what it refers to!! Oh, now I see 5% alcohol on the back. Anyhow. Appearance: Golden yellow with a lovely proud snow white head. Aroma: Yeast, caramel, hops, herbs, grass and corn. Flavour: Quite bitter, grain, honey, some hops, again, lots of caramel with a sweet grainy finish. Just okay. GregClow (2492), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 21, 2009 Bottle. Could be because I drank it after walking for an hour in 30’C heat, but I liked this more than I expected I would. Bright golden-yellow colour with a decent sized white head. Aroma is a touch too sweet for the style, but has a nice bready character with a herbal hop edge. Nice body, full but not heavy. Great flavour - fresh bread, some toasted grain, a hint of honey, and very nice, lingering herbal hops in the finish. Again, it’s a bit on the sweet side for a pils, but still a nice little brew. Joakgust (320), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 22, 2009 Bottle, 50 cl - Golden colored with a lazing small head. Aroma is sweet with bready notes. Dry flavor with notes of metallic hops. Light bodied average pilsner, hop quality could be better. gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 16, 2008 Bottle, thx to thewolf. golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, caramel, hint of hop. Flavour is the same. Medium body. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 6, 2008 Bottle, thx to thewolf. Pours a clear, golden body with a white head. Malty and a bit grainy nose with a pleasant hop profile. The flavor is much the same, but more on the fruity side than the aroma, finishing with a pleasant hoppy bitterness. Medium body. A quite pleasant beer, easy to drink, balanced and quenching, but far from exciting. (080301) dunkpigen (328), Kolding, Denmark Mar 9, 2008 Tasting at thewolf. Pours a hazy yellow with a small film. Aroma off hay and hops. Flavour is slightly hoppy. Thin but ok taste. JensenTaster (1585), Denmark Mar 3, 2008 (on bottle, thanx to thewolf) Cornyellow, white head. Firm malty sent, hay, bonbons. Rather thin bodied and easydrinkable. Finishes with a nasty touch of peas and cardboard.
