Bottle. Told this is best beer in Romania but also see best before Sept 2010. Black beer. Brown head. Soft roast scent. Moderate roast flavour. Tasty enough. Tastes more brown than black. Still nice soft roast flavour. Thanks to Glouglouburp.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JorisPPattyn (7363) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - NOV 12, 2010
Small dark-cream head over totally deep-dark amber beer. Very demure nose with dark malts, and something lactic. There’s another aroma, that reveals itself in the mouth as green apple. Main taste is sweet-neutral. All in all a pretty dim stout, but there’s worse around.

500 ml can. Pours thin and black, with decent tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malt and hint of chocolate. Very light body for a stout. Enjoyable though!

Bottle in Brasov. Black with a large brown head.
Smell of coffee, burnt malt and chocolate. The flavor contained the same as the aroma, plus a decent bitterness. Not bad at all for being a Romanian beer.

A really good, hearty black beer. It is best tasted on tap in romania of course.
