On tap at Ibis Hotel, Bucuresti. Opaque black body with low carbonation and a thin beige creamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with roasty hints. Its hoppy taste is slightly misbalanced and ends with a short bitter/roasty finish. Not bad.

Aug 22, 2008 Bottle (thanks mom!). Black-colored with a big brown head. Aroma of roasted malt with some light chocolate notes and dark bread hints. Sweetish roasty flavor with caramel, a bit of coffee and some metallic hints. Finishes dry with a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. Quite tasty.

Very dark ruby color, mostly vanishing tan head. Brown sugar aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Suprisingly not really sweet .. there is some molasses, but mainly flavor is dry, cardboardish and slightly licoricey. Good for being Romanian beer, but I like Silva Dark more.
