Can 500 ml at home, bought in a little romanian shop in Brussels. Into a Guinness pint.
Golden coloured beer, no activity in it. Almost two fingers of a white froathy head, low retention, minimal lacing around the glass.
Aroma is very malty and sweet as expected.
Lots of malts on the taste too. Starts sweet but quickly gets bitter and then it alternates between the two.
Thin body, good carbonation.
A bit heavy on the flavour but for what it is, it’s tolerable.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with a small white head that dissipates quickly with good lacing. Aroma is pure corn, not much else going on. Flavor is the same, light sweet and minimal bitterness. Light body, inoffensive, but not much going on.

Can @ Deans pale lager tasting, courtesy of Kermis. Pours a clear blonde beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is very light, grainy and a faint touch of potato. Flavor is nothing special, light sweet and artificial. Lacking alcohol is definitely noticeable in the mouthfeel. Not so good.

Bottle at Dean’s Pale Lager tasting, Den Haag. Poured a clear light straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is weak stale dry malt. The flavour is medium to weak bitter. Light bodied with low carbonation and a truly dreadful finish.

Can thanks to Kermis. Pours clear golden. Not much aroma. Somewhat skunky and hay. Musty and malty. Yikes. Light bitter. Light body.

19/08 0.5 l can Marko bought at some gas station (thanks!) after we’ve been late to all markets, due to that hour of timezone difference! It had grainy aroma, pretty repulsive, though it tasted better. Weaker malty, slightly bready and grainy flavor. Thinner body with shorter herbal and grainy finish. Drinkable, not too unpleasant malty, still not a decent substitute for regular beer.
