Bottle at Berăria Ursus, Cluj, Romania, March 2013. Pours clear golden and headless. Mineral, hops and grass aroma, bitter, in a pale lager way, then comes a little grainy sweetness, that helps it. Rather light body, soft carbonation for pils, long finish with a little malt.

Yellow colour with a white head. Light malty aroma. Moderate malty and light hoppy flavour. Just like most macro lagers around the world. Not bad.....not exciting.

Pale yellow, very pale. Decent white foam head lacing to glass. Aroma is of any other pilsener, so is taste. However this combined with the higher temperatures and a pizza made it an allright beer for that moment. (Bucharest 201208)

500ml can. Typical pilsener beer. Pours clear gold, average white head. hoppy aromas. Malty flavours. Bitter finish. Light body and high carbonation.

Poor pils. No aromas or special taste.
Highly carbonated.

When I visited Romania I tried bottle of Ursus pils too. Clear yellow color. Grassy aroma. Flavor is more hoppy. Nice finish. Better than premium.

Better than its rival ’Silva’, although it pours much about the same, not much of a head. Has a nice bite to it, and is refreshing in the heat of the sun.

Hardly any head, pale clear yellow with very litte carbonation. Aroma is like any other cheap pilsner, but much more yeast forward when consumed and pretty enjoyable. Medium dry finish.

Clear yellow, golden appearance. Very watery pilsener. Drinkable but not exciting at all.

Aroma speaks louder than the flavor, watery pils, some bitterness on the aftertaste, pretty boring, but actually not as bad as I was expecting, drinkable, but boring
