Ursus Pils

Bottled. Hazy golden, with a chill haze. Dms nose, little sweetish as well in aroma, but there are hops present. Light bodied. No flavour, only a late bitterness.

Pale yellow, somewhat hazy. Aroma from vegetables and cvoren, but also with banananotes. Weak and boring flavor with some hops in the finish.

Skumky, skunky skunky. Say hello to the sink. What a crap. This beer tastes like dry paper. there is completely nothing going on. Crap, dont get this.

Possibly the worst beer concoction out of Romania, altough improved in the past few years after renovations to the brewery (also one of the oldest Romanian breweries in Transylvania) most of the beers will vary in taste/guality due to poor management, I detected chemical tastes in alot of the Ursus I tried, I never finished a bottle and most Romanians with any sense or money will not drink this filthy stuff.

Faint, slightly brothy and Belgian yeast aroma. Gingerale colored beer, OK bottle and label, beady white head, fun bear on the label. Notes of cardboard in a somewhat unbalanced beer -- it tasted alcoholic even though it was only 5% ABV. Watery, flat and the hops only kick in after a long haul. Disappointing. The Saaz was more of an annoyance after a while than a compliment to the lager.

Golden in color with a slight head that stayed with the beer the whole time.was grainy in taste and had a bitter aftertaste.

Very aromatic and refreshing pilsner. Amber color, fresh clean taste and good dose of hops.

Clear light gold liquid with a big white head. Sweet, slightly grassy German hoppy aroma with a bit of spiciness. Flavor is very mild, slightly sweet and hardly any bitterness.
