2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle @ Midlands Tasting Group at Richies Hop Palace. My notes say ’Romanian Euro-lager. Nothing more’. So I think I’ll stick with that.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I got this in a one liter plastic bottle a friend of mine smuggled in from Romania. How did you get yours? This is a pretty good pale lager overall and I would drink it again if I could. It is clear and yellow w/ a small ring of head. The nose is all about those serial grains and a big healthy portion of skunk, skunk, skunk. It’s not bad when you taste it though, quite crisp and a bit hoppy and Pilsener-ish. If they brown bottled this garbage and sold it in the united states, I would occasionally but it just to seem like I was well traveled.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pretty pale beer with light aromas and a light sweet but rather bitter taste. It also has a long bitter finish. Palate sensation is ok for a cheap lager.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a clear golden color, topped with an average white head. Retention is solid.
Immediately there is a strong skunky smell, followed by moderat malt aroma.
The taste starts sweet, balanced body and some bitterness in the finish. Sweet aftertaste, some metal feel.
Light and slightly watery. Drinkable.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Ursus Premium has a medium, white head, a clear, bubbly, straw appearance, and some light lacing left behind. The aroma is pungent- sweet biscuit and cracker, and the flavor is the same, with a light-to-medium, grassy hop bitterness closing out the sip. Mouthfeel is almost medium, and Ursus Premium finishes crisp, refreshing, and delicious. One of the best mass-produced lagers I’ve ever tasted. RJT
