A- nearly crystal clear uniformly translucent straw yellow body. Pours with a nice 1 finger foamy white head. Lots of lacing left behind in the glass. S-Nose is very much like a belgian tripel in nature. Mild overall. White grape, crisp apple, pear, a hint of spice. An accent of floral hops-but the dry fruitiness is the highlight. T- Overall the flavor is very dry and mild. Floral hops follow from the initial flavor to the very mild lingering bitterness. The finish also adds a hint of peppery spice. Any other characters are so mild they are hard to discern. A very light peppery spice and floral hop bitterness linger. M- Medium to high carbonation. Light and bone dry body. D- This is a very interesting brew. Its like a hoppy leffe blonde that set out in the sun all day. Mild overall. One of the original Belgian IPAs-somewhat one-dimensional but still a very good brew overall-besides it paved the way for a lot of other great beers! 330 ml bottle.
Pours a slightly unclear yellow colour with a lacy white head. Aroma of smooth citrus, hops and something sweet. Caramel malts and citrus on the nose with a decent amount of hops. Also some flowery and spicy notes like cinnamon as well. Medium bodied with a dry, bitter mouthfeel and a warming finish. Good.

Strangely hoppy for a Belgian beer. Great beer.

New Beer Distributors 11.2oz ($3.50): Pours a really nice looking peachy color with bright white head. Not very strong fruity aroma, notes of champagne and hops as well. Strange hoppy bite throughout the taste of this beer. Some alcohol burn in the end of the beer. Light-medium bodied. Fruity notes that give it a winy feel. Spicy notes are also present. I didn’t love this beer, but it definitely had a good amount of complexity.

26.12.2010. 0,75l Bottle from vinmonopolet in Haugesund. Large bottle with kork cap. Pale orange colour with large white head. A little hazy. Aroma is dominated by hops. There is a lot of different hops. There is bitterness, sweetness and there is some sour flavours. I like it when there is a lot of hoppy flavours. This beer is refreshing and its strong with high alcohol content and rich hopping. Not too much body maybe, but hops and aftertaste is more than enough for me. A very good Belgium strong ale.

Ah, that unique, spicy Belgian nose. It’s been a while. Christmassy notes in there as well with cloves and raisins. Pours a lovely medium-deep gold with a firm and fluffy white head and excellent lacing. Flavour is not anywhere near as pungent as expected - indeed it’s very well balanced, smooth, full of hoppy bittersweetness, and leeds to a long, lingering, resiny finish. Very nice.

Tap at Big Bucks Grapevine TX!! Fresh hop and Belgian yeast nose. Taste is a distinct hop profile mellowed by a smooth yeast and superb brewing. Too cool for school!
