bottle. straw, medium frothy head. no particular hop aroma, to me this smells and tastes like a tripel. maybe just a touch more bitterness on the finish than normal. well carbonated, sweet boozy finish. I was expecting a belgian ipa but this is really a normal tripel! A nice one though.

bottled, thanks to mowbeer for sharing. hazy golden with a faint greenish tinge and a fluffy white head; aroma of honey on buttery toast, earthy spice; some warming alcohol, hints of stewed beer with plenty of grassy bitterness. quality stuff

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2014 330ml bottle served in a chalice. A: Pale cloudy yellow color with a huge aired white head. Good retention. The head never disappears completely leaving a small layer and many lacings around S: Delicious perfume of hops: Citrus and earthy. Honey, caramel malts and strong bready Belgian style yeasts in the end T: Follows the nose. Malts, honey and hoppy bitterness. Quite dry and bready. Hops are again, citrus and a bit earthy. Belgian style yeasts "completing the party". Extremely balanced and well done M: Medium body and carbonation. A bit molasses and a considerable bitterness. Not much alcohol could be noticed despite the 9.5% ABV O: High drinkability. Delicious bitterness. Reminded me a Duvel overloaded with hops. Same impression that I’ve had with the "La Chouffe Dobbelen IPA". [ BA Review @ 11/7/2010 ]

Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a yellow / golden color which is a little hazy, and a lot of bubbles. The aroma is rich of hops and some hints of fruits, spices and a little citrus. The taste is full, warming but overall a nice bitterness is very well noticable in the end. The finish is dry, long and the bitterness is long noticable. Reminds me of a tripel beer, but there is a little too much alcohol in it, and that is well noticable. Further it’s a pretty nice beer.

Bottle. Hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is strong boozy with faint orange hints and grain. Taste is malty, toffee, again highly alcoholic, fruity yeast. Yeasty caramel finish. Too strong alcohol notes to really make it in my opinion.
