Clear copper pour, foamy white head. Nice lacing. Sweet yeasty, grass and fruit aroma with a hint of cotten candy and green apple. Little bit oily in the mouth. Flavour is bready with vanilla malt. Finishes with a bitter herbal, pepper and lemon. Unfortunately the high alcohol drowns the flavour a little, making it a little long and harsh. Really nice complexity though. Softens up a bit when it warms up, but this is still sippin’ beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at The Monk’s Table. Poors a clear golden colour with small white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a little lacing on the glass. The smell is amazing, wonderful sweetness with some floral hoppy undertones. The taste, my god the taste, this was a great surprise. Malty flavour balanced very well with some hoppy citrusy bitterness. Aftertaste has a bit of an alcohol flavour, but nothing that would belie its high alcohol content. Very drinkable.

Bottle at home, forget from where. Poured gold in colour with a lively bright white head. Aroma of malts, some Belgian yeast type notes. Flavour has some subtle citrus hops, highly carbonated, quite sharp.

Fresh scent with hints of yeast, fruits and citrus. The flavor is yeast with a sweet and fruity tone of apples. The aftertaste is bitter with a touch of hops and yeast, and a vague alcohol aroma.

33 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Beer Ritz Leeds. Honey appearance with a massive thick white head that settles to a froth. Slight soap aroma (think I rinsed the glass), some alcohol and banana. Ginger and resin come out on the first sip, then a warm alcohol infused bitterness on the finish.

750mL bottle, split many ways, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of pale malts, hops, and mild candied sugar. Flavour of citrus hops, candied sugar and some bready malts. Hides the ABV insanely well. Quite enjoyable.
