So I still am not the biggest Begian beer fan - in fact, with every new Belgian beer I dislike it more. But anyway, I was quite looking forward to this one, because I am a hop head and hoped it to be quite hoppy....well, it pours out in a cloudy amber colour with big steady head and smooth body. Aroma of Belgian yeast and acid grass. Taste of Belgian yeast, mild unfresh hops, malt, flowers and caramel. Medium-dry finish. Drinkable and good but just nothing that might be better or worse than any other Belgian brew.

33cl bottle from beercascais. Color is clear gold. Head is medium. Body is smooth. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Nice dryness. Aroma is malty, caramel, herby, and some unusual hop aroma in a belgian ale.

From a bottle. Pours copper brown with a bubbly beige head. Tastes like strong malt, grapes, grape nuts, wheat. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like nutty, but try malt.

Golden with small white head. Yeast, orange, grass, malts. Taste is big bitterness with touch if sweet. Medium bodied. Some noticeable alcohol. Ok, but it's mostly just yeasty bitterness.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy golden coloured brew with an promising hoppy bitter taste but turns to some sticky not so liking beer, but its not that bad.

330 ml bottle poured into stemmed glass. Hazy golden color with a voluminous foamy white head with decent retention and steady carbonation. Bready pale malt aroma with honey sweetness and an alcohol presence. Flavor follows suit with smooth honey notes with some peppery spiciness towards the middle and a slightly alcoholic finish. Smoother than I was expecting, but maybe a bit too smooth. I was expecting more hoppiness.

Urthel Hop-it has a thick, off-white head, and hazy, very bubbly, gold-orange appearance, with minimal lacing. The aroma is of sweet, pungent, sour-dough breadiness, with an underlying bright fruit smell. Taste is of all those elements, with a noticeable grain husk and a fairly strong alcohol presence. The straight-forward bitterness shows up in the after-taste. Mouthfeel is medium and prickly, and Urthel Hop-it finishes semi-dry, mostly easy going, and surprisingly drinkable for such a high abv ale. Excellent! RJT

Aroma: alcohol, peach and flower notes. Appearance: hazy golden color, no head. Taste: medium bitterness (alcohol), peach, malty backbone, agressive taste - not balanced. Palate: full body, high carbonation, unpleasent alcohol finish. Overall: Very dissapointing beer, agressive taste, this is not my style.
