Flaske fra polet: duften av kandissukker og belgisk gjær stiger mot nesen og pirrer de olfaktoriske nerver umu\iddelbart - dette blir bra! Lys og klar, gylden farge med højt, hvidt skum. Deilig smak og munnfylde - denne holder hva den lover. Lett bitterhet til å balansere sødmen. Beroligende å vite at en del av sommerferien skal tilbringes nettopp i Belgia!

Bottle 0.33l at Vastarannan Kiiski, Helsinki. Colour is clear yellow with medium white head. Aromas and flavours: Belgian yeast, fruits, citrus and hops.

33 cl bottle. Clear golden body with a nice large white head. Spicy aroma. Nice hop taste.*****

Aroma floreale ed agrumato, chiuma bianca compatta e colore biondo tendente al torbido. Corpo medio e carbonatazione medio/alta che si fa sentire. Entrata quasi dolciastra che, però, ben presto si trasforma in un amaro erbaceo di luppoli (presenti in abbondanza per essere una strong belga). Anche il retrogusto resta ben amaro e persistente, il che non dispiace. L’alcool, che è decisamente elevato, non si sente che fino all’ultimo e, anzi, da una buona senzazione di calore. I palati fini forse non considereranno questo prodotto, presente nella grande distribuzione, come una prelibatezza, ma a me è decisamente piaciuta. Nota di demerito per l’etichetta, che contende a "la chouffe" il titolo di più pacchiana in circolazione. ----- Floral aroma and citrus chiuma compact white and blond color tending to cloudy. Medium body and carbonation medium / high that is felt. Almost sweet entry which, however, soon turns into a bitter grassy hops (present in abundance to be a strong Belgian). The aftertaste is very bitter and persistent, do not mind. The alcohol, which is very high, you do not hear that until the last and, indeed, a good feeling of warmth. The palates might not consider this product, present in retail, as a delicacy, but I definitely enjoyed it. Demerit for the label, which competes with "La Chouffe" the title of most tawdry available.

Fizzy, clear golden appearance with a one-finger head. A little underwhelming aroma, but kicks in with a big sharp flavour with a lot of fizz on the tounge, the flavour then mellows to give a malty, sweet finish.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a big frothy white top. Aroma is earthy and pine hop with bread malts. Taste is earthy hop bitterness with bready malts and belgian yeast. Perhaps too much age on the bottle but rather underwhelming.

Bottle from Kris Wines. Bright golden colour with nice white head. Typical Belgian ale character, floral and yet slightly yeasty aroma, more hoppy in the long finish with some alcoholic whiff. Some passion fruit in the aroma. Nice!

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2013 Esta es una buena cerveza para los que empiecen a amar el lúpulo. Dorada con espuma blanca, olores lupulados, cítricos y sabores amargos, a naranja. Potente graduación camuflada en el sabor.

Stor flaske og sterkt alkohol prosent. Lukter litt surt som spontangjæret . Men en god smak. Lite skum .

Slightly hazy light yellow with decent white foam head, lacing to glass. Aroma is light hoppywith some alcohol. Taste is alcohol dominated pilsener. (Utrecht 201303)
