Bottle. A - Light golden with an orange tint color. Large white foamy head with average retention. Decent lacing left over. S - Good amount of citrus and topical fruit hop smells come out. A little bit of pine and grass as well as some pale malt. T - A faint subtle taste of pale malt starts the sip. This doesn’t last long though and gives way to a plethora of hop flavors. They intermingle and change with every sip. Plenty of orange and some grapefruit and lemon, along with a bit of pine and grassy flavors. Also a good amount of tropical and golden fruit fades in and out. These fruit flavors consist of pineapple, mango, a bit of apricot, and peach and these fruits have a slight candied taste to them as well. Finish with a bit of spicy and a slight alcohol warming as well as Belgian yeast. M - Medium body with higher than average carbonation. Fairly creamy and drying finish. D - Good drinkability. Hop flavors dominant but they don’t kill the palate, also not incredibly bitter. Pretty creamy and goes down easy. Refreshing, but ABV is a little high to drink too many. Notes: Really nice beer that taste somewhat like a mix between an American IPA with West Coast hop flavors and a Belgian IPA/Tripel. Lots of good hoppy flavors with lots of fruity hops and some pine.

03/03 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! It poured golden, slightly hazy body with bigger head that was ivory colored. Fine hoppy aroma, orange, possibly cascade, some herbs and some biscuity malt. Of course, it has bitterish flavor, hop bite is equal to those in its nose, some vanilla and biscuit malts are hiding beneath. Very refreshing, medium bodied with long bitterish herbal finish. Alcohol is well hidden, but still slightly felt in the flavor and especially in the finish. Its style fits better under IPA or APA, but it’s a nice and enjoyable beer anyway.

Bottle from beershop.hr, shared with heavy.
Poured a hazy orange/golden boy with a big white head that went away at a medium pace. The nose is aromatic hops drowned in a sea of malt, pollen, elder and orange. And maybe alcohol. Very bitter hoppy taste battling with the alcohol presence and honey. Some orange. Dry. Something there but the alcohol and the unpleasant bitterness ruin everything. Light but crude bitter hop aftertaste. These Urthels aren’t doing much for me so far.

750 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours murky orange with a huge creamy white head.Belgian yeasty aroma, hops and flowers as well. Taste is medium sweet with a hoppy touch, pine and resin. Ends with a alcoholic bite before the dry hops lingers on for ever. Nice drink in front of the fireplace.

Biggish white head. Yellow body with floaties. Sugary fruity hoppy Belgian yeast aroma with floral toffee notes. Dry-sweet fruity floral toffee taste with resiny hoppy notes. Light body. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry bitterish grassy resiny aftertaste with floral toffee notes. Nice, but perhaps a bit sweet, and not entirely harmonic. Leaves sticky sugars on lips. (0.75l bottle, wine monopoly.)

Bottle. Light clear golden yellow with a big creamy white head, leaving lacing reminiscent of black metal band logos on the glass walls. Nice. Aroma is surprisingly unhoppy. Belgo yeast, canned fruits, candy, with some citrus and tropical fruit notes and a solid alcohol note that does become a bit too apparent as it warms. Flavour is very full, not very bitter as I would have expected, with a big alcohol warmth in the finish. Fittingly carbed, this medium bodied brew would be very chuffable if not for the alcohol sting which detracts quite a bit from the experience.

Delicious. I’m a sucker for hoppy and belgian. Raisiny in a light way, but not tripel-y - lacks the characteristic chemical-y flavor at the end.
