Bottle at home. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head that leaves some lacing. Spicy aroma, fruity, slightly hoppy and it reminds me more of a Belgian tripel. Bittersweet flavor, slightly malty, quite hoppy and a bit sharp and stingy to the nose. Nice.

Bottle. Thanks to hobbersr for sharing! Pours hazy yellow-orange, thin head that quickly reduces to naught. Nose is very spicy, some nice raunchy hops, plus white pepper, rich Huyghe-like yeast character, light candy, some citrus and tropical fruits. Palate is also spicy, more hop bitterness, well off-set by the spiciness of the yeast. Very nice and well-balanced.

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2010 From a bottle. I decided to revisit this one. The nose is fruit and a wonderful note of butterscotch. (I like butterscotch.) Pours a hazy gold with a prominent, long-lasting head. Flavor is sweet and extremely hoppy, with more butterscotch on the open and tight hops on the finish. Good.

Slight hazy golden coloured, medium sized white head, flovery nose. Lively carbonation. Sweet malty, flowery hoppy and mild yeasty with a way too strong alcohol presence. Bitter alcoholic finish.

One of the beer that made it back from my trip to Belgium. Pours a pale golden orange with a nice head that laces spottily. The aroma is sweet, citric and slightly funky. The flavor has lemon drops, earthy hops, spice, honey, grass and a funky dry finish reminiscent of Delirium Tremens. not bad at all.

Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a foamy off-white head. Hoppy and yeasty aroma with notes of spices and fruits. The flavour is sweet and quite hoppy with some bitterness, yeast, spices and fruits. Smooth palate, some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Pours a nice golden color with a huge white head. Smell is yeast along with some citrus aromas and a little bit of hops. It smells about like a Belgian tripel. The flavor starts off like a tripel and then you are hit with citrus hops which match up nicely with the fruit flavors. A very enjoyable beer. I wish you could find more beers of this style.
