Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent gold with fluffy white head and lively carbonation. Smells solid; sweet, hoppy, and yeasty. Tastes like it smells with a nice mouthfeel. A decent example of the style.

Pours copper color with a large head. Aroma of hops, fruits, spices, mild pale malts and wooden and earthy notes. Flavor of spices, herbs, hops, fruits, malts and toffee. Excellent.

Bottle from beernavigator. Pours golden and clear with a big white head. Typical belgian yeasty aroma with spices and esters but not any hops. Spicy aroma that is typical for a blond belgian strong ale. Sweetish and warming but the alcohol comes thru a bit to much. But the bitterness is definately higher which I like, it brings a bit of balance the this brew that is a bit to strong for my liking.

750ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Big white head which fades quite quickly. Body is golden and slightly hazy. Aroma of light hops and summer. Tastes pretty much the same as it smells, although a bit more spicy and sweet. Palate is excellent, perhaps a little over the top.

Bottle. Pale golden w/some sediment. Green/noble grassy hops, belgian yeast, spices, some estery vibes. Body is quite pale malty, abbey tripel- like, lots of yeast-induced flavours. Some corn, a lot of green hops. Soft, smooth. Feels a bit like a well hopped tripel. But decently balanced. If orval would do a tripel, this would probably be pretty close (..without the brett finish).

75 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 24.10.2009
Aroma has lots of grassy Belgian hops. Also some citrus and Belgian yeast. Flavour is rather high on Belgian hops, grassy notes, some herbs, citrus and yeasty notes. These overhopped belgians are usually not for me, but this one wasn’t that bad.

33cl @ Castel, Gent. Waiting for my train. Fresh, hoppy, citrus in the nose. Goldblond with a huge white lacing head. Citrus returns in the taste and a certain amount of bitterness. Rich long bitter finish, a lot of carbo. Drinks nicely.
