A clear pale copper color with an off white head and good lacing. Aroma is spicy with some tropical fruit and clove. Taste of clove with traditional banana and caramel. Semi creamy mouthfeel with a medium body and moderate carbonation.

Hazy golden amber pour, with a tall rocky white head, great lacing. Yeasty aroma, floral hops. Light cereal malts, fairly bitter, dry bitter finish. Awesome.

Aroma is earthy and malty. Not very bitter or hoppy as far as IPAs go. Not too bad but not great.

Bottle from old backlog notes 07. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have Belgian yeast, citrus, fruity esters, pale malts, moderate sweetness, decent enough though I would probably not grab this again with so many options.

Draft at Blue Monk. Buffalo NY. Golden orange pour. Sweet malts, orange marmalade on both aroma and flavor. Styrofoam and candu sweetness. Tastes aged past prime. Ok

Murky amber color with white medium-lasting head. Aroma is more like a Belgian Ale, spicy and fruity. Taste is hoppier than the aroma, but with some moderation. Spicy taste, with some peppers, esters and a slightly banana hints. Alcohol is extremely well hidden. The aftertaste is bitter, but it doesn’t last for a long time. Interesting, but I expected a much more hoppy beer.

Bottle at the Brouwcafe. Scheveningen. Poured a clear straw colour with a long lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is big dry yeast and unmistakably Belgian. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a big, crisp, yeasty boozy alcohol light hop palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Rather Duvel like. Didn’t really get the hops at all.
