2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dutchbeerpages (770) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - AUG 17, 2009
Nice hints of cloves and citrus in the smell. Very hoppy, little too much for my taste but I also don’t like IPA’s that much. if you do this might be a good beer for you.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 ChrisThomson (522) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 14, 2009
On tap at Volo. Pours golden with medium white head. Aroma of floral hops, and fruits. Very fruity flavours, peach, apples, with a decent hop bite in the finish. Alcohol came through a bit too much for me.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 daknole (5474) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 11, 2009
Bottle from The Coffee District in Delray. Orangish pour. Aroma is full of caramel malt, spices and floral hops. Flavor is hoppy, but not crazy bitter. Caramel, malt and some light bready notes go well with the hops. Easy to drink.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Fagner (23) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - AUG 1, 2009
Bottle in my house in São Paulo, Brazil (watching my soccer team win - this will not reflect on this rating!) - Gold-orange appearance with a white head. Yeasty flavor, with a little taste of peach, spice and grass. Creamy texture. Bitter and hoppy finish. Decent beer.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Barrios (1243) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 31, 2009
Smells of caramelized malt and hops. Same for the flavor but with a farm funkiness.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 elihapa (1369) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - JUL 29, 2009
Served out of bottle, at a tasting. Pours gold-orange, with a medium sized white head. Aroma has much more sweetness than I had hoped, a bubble-gum fruitiness is discernable. Flavor starts with yeasty, estery notes, some peach and grass. A bit muddy, if I must say. The finish builds strongly to a bitter hoppy finish, but it lacks depth. I don’t know, this beer didn’t really impress me much. It is clearly made in the Belgian tradition, but the attempt to hop it up just didn’t come through with anything more than sweetish fruit, metal and a bitter finish.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 garthicus (2006) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 25, 2009
Appearance: golden yellow, small head. Aroma: nice hoppy aroma with yeast, malt and spices. Flavour: alcohol, malt, lots and lots of bitter hops with a juicy hop finish. The alcohol is quite evident but enjoyable. On tap at Sin & Redemption.

Bottle: Golden, many little floaties visible, smaller, quite stable off-white head; moderate to solid hoppy-fruity nose with a subtle grainy touch; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; robust bitter-aromatic hops in the moderate lingering bitter-sweet finish. A goodie.........
