Bottled at Pothuiske, Color is hazy, murky pale golden. Head is very thick with a nice nose. Aroma is yeasty but not overdone. Flavour is sweet hops and at the end bitter malty mouthfeel dominates. Lovely!

Bottle from Oldsmar Tap house. Great beer in the color and the aroma. It poured a cloudy gold with a strong white grapefruit and lemon citrus aroma. Good malt base with bitter citrus/ lemon notes in the finish. It is good; earthy and kind of grassy in the finish.

Pours a cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma is an interesting combination of belgian esters and northwest hops. Flavor would be sweet but the sweetness is overshadowed by obscene bitterness and alcohol. Bitter finish doesn’t last very long. Very unique.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 puzzl (3071) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 4, 2008
12oz bottle. Pours a moderate sandy gold with a pillowy white head. Initial smells show a strong, Belgian booziness in the aroma, with a balance of cookie and lightly aged hops. Calm and collected up front, the oddly hoppy flavor descends into a tough bout with alcoholism before finding itself again with a long, biscuity and yeasty finish. This beer is an odd marriage between hops and yeast that doesn’t quite work. I do give it props though for being one of the first to do this style which has now become increasingly common and delicious.

Very hoppy, but thanks to the Belgian yeast this beer is much more drinkable than American super hopped versions. Certaintly worth a glass....

Pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is a bit hoppy, some sweetness and a strange metallic funk. Flavor was very metaliic, and very boozy, too much to over come to offer a smooth flavor.
