UPDATED: DEC 15, 2011 Cloudy golden colour with a big white head. Yeasty and spicy aroma with lemon and some vanilla. Very balanced flavour, sweet and yeasty with a hoppy bitter tone in the right amount. Really good beer. (6/3/8/5/17)
Clear golden colour, white head. Caramel, vanilla, honey in the yeasty aroma. Interesting hoppy and yeasty flavour with some caramel.

frothy big bubbles on the carbonation, with alot of sediment in bottle :) almost golden in colour. Aromas jump out of the glass, green apples, alcohol, fruity and has a real margherita characteristic. orange juice, crazy nose. palate is very nice, belgian yeast esters, vanilla, alcohol, almost tequilla like and very interesting but slightly out of balance.An interesting brew but slightly out of balance and slightly sweet for my tastes.

750ml bottle. Light amber pour with a huge white head that settles into a nice lace. Nose of green apple and tequila with a little funk and evident alcohol. A little light on the palate with that same green apple tequila vibe. The booze is really evident. There’s a candied note and some yeasty esters. In short this stuff is all over the map.

ottima belgian con buoni sentori fruttati e floreali. in bocca note di frutta a polpa bianca,malto e anche un po di agrume.comunque equilibrata e persistente.

Caramel malty aroma with limited hops. Taste is quite similar. Not as hoppy as expected but still nice beer.

It looks nice. Tight foamy head and all. There is some bitterness here, no doubt. But where are the hops? It has just a penetrating and generic bitterness towards the front, trailing in a slight, almost camphor-like bitterness on the lingering finish.
The ale itself is a solid strong ale.

Colore d’orato schiuma compatta. L’ho bevuta sia alla spina che in bottiglia.E’ una birra un po "estrema" se non sei amante di queste tipologia di birre belghe andati sull’ipa , ultra luppolate e molto amare la rende di difficile bevibilità.

Bottle; Pour is murky gold with a frothy, fine bubbled off white head. Spotty lacing in this tulip. Mildly funky, citrus zest, pepper, spices; The malt side comes out on the flavor profile; coupled with the peaches, citrus, funk, spices, pepper - this is a decent brew ; but doesn’t come together as well as I would like. Don’t mistake, while it is hoppier than your typical Belgians, its not so much.
