I know that it isn’t fair to compare this to American IPAs, but my palate just can’t help itself. It’s what I drink for fun and session with. The Hop It just doesn’t compare. Hell I’ve had a lot of pilsners that are hoppier than this. It does have a nice nose. The aroma hops are well done and plentiful. But when I taste it, I think...Really??? That’s it? Again I’m unfairly comparing this beer to beers of a different style. However, it can’t be helped. Oh well.

12 ounce bottle at the Bayou, I dig the label. A very cloudy orange color with a large white head. A sweet nose of citrus and dry rich sugary malts. The flavor is not really a hoppy brew, but instead an interesting Blonde with heft; some sugary malts, a fluffy delicate body, dry, some light Belgian yeast. Very nice. Quality.

Pour straw golden yellow white head nice lace. Aroma Belgian yeast, spicy, floral hops, clove, banana. Taste clove, pepper, Belgian yeast, quite spicy, floral and bitter. MF medium body nice fizzy carb. Overall a solid hoppy Belgian spicy brew.

Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur blond très légèrement trouble, mousse correcte et tenue correcte. Belle amertume, très légèrement fruitée, l’alcool est finalement bien masqué même si elle reste tout à fait puissante. Manque juste le tout petit truc en plus pour la faire passer dans les indispensables.

Light gold in color with bright white head and nice lace. Nice strong aroma of fruity, somewhat floral hops. Awesome flavor. Very impressed.

This is a beer that gives a wow. When I first tasted this beer I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name makes you expect a very hoppy taste, but it was a bit sweet with fruity aroma’s. I really enjoyed this beer in it’s orignal Urthel Hop-it glass.

Tap. Clear straw color with only wisp of a white head. Nice fruity aroma but a strong booze presence. Sweet taste with bread and candy sugar. Hides the alcohol nicely. Light to medium bodied. Other than the strong aroma this is pretty solid.
