3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 JStax (1669) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 28, 2012Poured on draft into a tulip glass. Appearance is a hazy gold with a white head of foam that leaves quickly. Aroma is almost nonexistent. I get some lemon zest, but that’s about the end of it. This beer left me wondering if I just completely missed it.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Grzesiek79 (2352) - Radom, POLAND - MAY 19, 2013
Alkohol ukryty, nawet finisz wspanialy. Ciekawa etykieta. Po prostu piwo bardzo dobrej jakosci.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Reimer96 (589) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 9, 2013
Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a frothy sticky white head. Aroma of caramel, brown sugar, and some yeast esthers. Taste is brown sugar, spicy yeast, caramel and yeast. A very smooth beer for 9.5 percent, excellent belgian strong.
4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 Mr_Vogel (54) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 8, 2013
One of my favourite beers ever. Looks great with a decorated glass, golden colour and big fluffy head that simply does not disappear. Smells of hops, at least two; one citrus and one spicy. Some yeasty sweetness as well. Maybe malts, but hops dominate. Taste is fresh with hops, fruits, citrus and some bread. Bitterness swells towards the aftertaste that ends dry and hoppy. Impressive that the hops are so distinguishable, given the high volume of alcohol (that was completely hidden by the way). What a delight.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 JaKeAFC (316) - ITALY - MAY 6, 2013
Tasted 3 months ago, and, damn, i can’t remember the details. But it was good. Hops, spices, alcohol. Dry and lively. Need to re-reate properly though.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 pootzboy (1451) - Hawgville, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2013
Bottle - finally got around to reviewing this one after having sampled it numerous times but never in a session. This brew rocks. Light hazed gold. Big puffy white cap lasts.. Nobel hop aroma with plenty of bready malts and a hint of yeasty Belgian funk. It’s only ale characteristic is a little sharpness in the front, other than that it’s really rounded and full bodied with a balanced profile. Flavor is that of a big hoppy lager with a rich finish and a nice hop bite. Totally hides its strength.. Sessioning this is dangerous.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Leepe_steven (78) - BELGIUM - MAY 4, 2013
Pours clear yellow with white head. Aroma and taste is yeast, malt, sweetness, and some hops. Expected more on the hops since it is called hop-it, tastes more like a regular belgian blonde.
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Cirrhosis (1072) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 2, 2013
Light yellow body, small cap. Very yeasty aroma, hay, banana, lemon, ans a mild funk. Taste seems harsh and grassy, lemon, vanilla. To much perfume. Meh at best with my mode today.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bartlebier (459) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - APR 30, 2013
33cl bottle. - Enjoyable for bitter caramel strong ale. Caramelised lighter fruits (apricot, white grape) meet spicy hops, generous B ale foam. Nice, broadly balanced feat for the wallop this is. Yet, always a bit of a shame to see, smell an taste a beer that features "hop" prominently on the label behave like a fruity amped up tripel - the curse of the sweet Belgian palate and yeast that will swallow and overpower any natural quality (EU) hops that comes in its way. Not easy and guiltless drinking, each sip reminding you of the calories it must pack... Same transatlantic category, but smoother: Victory Golden Monkey.
