2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pale dark yellow pour with massive floaties, small head.
Grainy german malt aroma, almost some vomit notes, mostly sweetly german breadiness, some strange spice maybe with the malt aroma the hops(if any) seem medicinal and subtle
Im detecting a poorly stored bottle maybe,or infection i notice a light crud ring around the neck so maybe this was autolized too or infected.
Really it just seemed stale yeast tasting. There is a pronounce malt light sweetness, fairly good hop taste but bittering is subtle too, with stale yeast off taste.Bottle says ko9h7 09: 02 whatever that means.
The 9.5 is very well hidden though with mild spicy and a heavy malt with balanced sweetness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
As you can expect from the name, the hops are well represented troughout both aroma and taste. Well balanced, nicely drinking beer. A must drink for the lovers of hoppy beers, but may be challenging for the ones that are just starting to explore craft beers since it is quite bitter.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from biernavi.de. Golden, light amber clear body with creamy long-lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, belgian yeast, brown sugar, some spices and some alcohol. Nice taste! More spices, nutty belgian yeast, fruits, citrus, a bit malt and it finishes hoppy and dry. The mouthfeel is full, creamy to oily, with a medium carbonation. A really tasty, elegant, greatly balanced hoppy Belgian strong ale. The high ABV isn’t really noticeable, very smooth to drink. Enjoyed this a lot!

This golden ale poured with a thin off-white head. The flavor is fruity and spicy with a subtle, but tasty hop presence.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Blonde dorée claire, effervescence moyenne, mousse tombe rapidement. Malts bien présents en entrée rapidement suivis par une amertume houblonnée qui ne tient hélas pas la longueur. La chaleur de l’alcool se fait sentir mais pas trop.

330ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Clear golden yellow with a long-lasting white head, great lacing. Aromas are less hoppy than I might have though, but noble hop type spice and floral notes are there, alongside spicy contributions form the yeast, and some lemon. Touch of alcohol noticeable, but only a touch. Having said that, it slips down nicely for it’s strength. Rich and full-bodied for such a pale beer. Nice.

9,5%ABV. Bitter Ale.
