Opaque orange-yellow, large two-finger small bubble head that lasts considerably. Nice nose: lots of spice in clove and pepper, some alcohol, slightly floral and lemon - prototypical tripel aroma taken to a nice high octave. Spicy yeast is most noticeable characteristic in the taste, with clove and some lemon and grassy, floral tones. End-palate is off-puttingly alcoholic to the point of fusel-like notes, also some spiciness from the alcohol...but all alcohol in the finish. Dry, spicy, grassy aftertaste. High carbonation but maintains very nice, thick mouthfeel.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2015 Sweet aroma. Don?t noticed the floral aroma of hops. Strong presence of alcohol dominates all other flavours. Bright golden with white head.

Uma Belgian Strong Ale que tinha tudo para ser uma bela cerveja, mas que pela grande presença do álcool, atrapalha o sabor.

Aroma: Lots of hop, flowers, perfume, bread, watery. Appearance: Golden/amber coloured beer with a diminishing white head. Has floating yeast in it. Taste/Palate: Where the aroma might be watery, the taste makes more than up for it. Strong sweetness at the start and ends in a lasting bitterness.

Nez: Floral, agrumes, levure Bouche: Maltée, citron, résineuse, épicée, levure Amertume légère qui reste sur la longueur avec un léger côté résineux. Une belge légèrement houblonnée agréable

33cl bottle at home. Amber coloured beer, and a bit hazy too. The collar on top is beautiful rocky and white. A great starter. The nose has some malt and dust hints, and more artificial hops. The taste is nothing refreshing. Light bitter notes, some herbs too, malts. The brew is medium sweet, making this a medium bodied ale (although it counts for a 9.5% alcohol brew!). The bitter ending is fine, but I do noticed some unpleasant candylike flavours too - making this a bit chemical. Good enough for once or twice, yet really nothing exciting.

Hazy blond colour with rich cotton like head. Rich oily hoparoma of grass, herbs, spices and lemon-peels with light sweet malty tone of nectarines and alcohol. Full hoppy flavour of wet grass, lemon-peels and herbs. Quite full body. Long oily bitter aftertaste

On tap at Beer Kitchen in KC. Spicy hops, fruity esters and medium hop bitterness. Light herbal and floral notes round things out. OK.
