Opaque orange-yellow, large two-finger small bubble head that lasts considerably. Nice nose: lots of spice in clove and pepper, some alcohol, slightly floral and lemon - prototypical tripel aroma taken to a nice high octave. Spicy yeast is most noticeable characteristic in the taste, with clove and some lemon and grassy, floral tones. End-palate is off-puttingly alcoholic to the point of fusel-like notes, also some spiciness from the alcohol...but all alcohol in the finish. Dry, spicy, grassy aftertaste. High carbonation but maintains very nice, thick mouthfeel.

330ml bottle. Almost clear yellow golden color with white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, citrusy fruity, grassy, light piney, caramel, bready, spicy yeasty. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Hazy pale gold. Large head, medium to high retention. Notes of cereals and banana in the nose, with a touch of citrus. Medium sweet and alcohol in the taste.

33cl @ bottle. Di certo non una birra estiva e qui l’errore di berla a fine luglio. L’alcol si sente molto, tanto dolce, di sicuro da ribere con temperature più basse.

Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. In the aroma citrus, hop and banana. The clear golden beer has a large white head. In the taste mainly hop, but also bread, spices and citrus fruits. Medium carbonated.

Aroma: moderate to low lemon hop notes, white bread, spicy belgian ethers. Taste: moderate malt and alcohol sweeteness, moderate hoppy biterness. Strong bitter and spicy aftertaste. This is slightly strange but pleasant bitter ale with specific belgian bitterness.

330ml, BB June 2016, 9.5%. Golden, light haze, sparkling, dense foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is banana fudge, zesty tangerine, spice, perfumey lavender, palma violet, grains. Body is light, foamy, tingly carbonation. Taste is light grains, booze, floral tinctures, spice, plastic, dry finish. Just a little harsh and simple, but looks and smells great.

Clear golden with some floating sediment. Fluffy, airy white head. Malty, bready aroma, hints of citrus, fruit and acetone. Flavour has sweet and fruity malt, some spicy yeast and warming, boozy alcohol. Mouthfeel is smooth, finish is bitter with a little alcohol burn.

Boldly bitter, but wears it well; like a more fruity (pear), more floral version of duvel. -   Nose: Fruit (pear? mango? lemon?) + flowers (buttercup?) = faintly marzipan? -   Body: Very small bubbles make their presence felt on tongue. Robust, bitter feel. -   Finish: A massive bitterness is working away at you, but the burn is ultimately a candied one.
